The direction things are going, I would not be too sure of it. I never thought that a foreign bastard like Obama, if that is his actual name, would be elected by a majority vote to the White House either. But there he sits. We now live in interesting times. The parasites now outnumber the producers. The slaves outnumber the free.

But is effectively happening now, with 20,000 gun control laws, and more and more added. (Good luck in getting even the 20,000 cut to 15,000) It also effectively happens when the supreme court refuses to hear gun control laws and then decide for the 2nd amendment, thereby letting stand unconstitutional laws. (The recent CT law is a great case in point.)
We have a history where gun registration has lead to gun confiscation. NYC is a case in point.

Then you can point to the 2nd amendment and say, see, we have the right to keep and bear arms. (because there hasn’t been a “Constitution Convention” and a subsequent 75% vote, it is till there) And yet, there are no arms to keep. They are all gone.
