You have my sympathies; however, you aren’t this little boy, are you? And I’m not sure that the kids who took it and tossed it around should be complimented for having “straightened” you out about acceptable headwear.

launched a Support for Grayson Facebook page, attracting over 70,000 fans, and people all over the world wrote in messages telling the boy that his love for My Little Pony is awesome. Men posted images of themselves holding pony dolls.

And you need to keep you 9 year old boy away from every single one of them.

“Is that like telling a young girl how they dress is a “trigger” for harassment (or worse)?

In other words, we’re blaming the victim for what might happened to them?

Typical liberal-think :-(”

No doubt. This was the same excuse that the school in CA used when it banned kids from wearing the American flag on Cinco de Mayo. If you don’t like what someone is wearing - Don’t wear it yourself.

Would he be allowed to wear that backpack to school on May 5th, if it had a small American flag patch sewn on it?

With a name like Grayson Bruce, the kid should have a Batman and Robin backpack.

Curious what the response would be if he had an American flag backpack and latino bangers were beating him.

My child would be sent to that class with a nice new book bad with a cross and “Jesus Saves” emblazoned on it....and I’d dare any administrator to deny him that right.

1. If he wants to wear a My Little Pony backpack then he can. The school shouldn’t have told him he couldn’t. It’s possible they were actually trying to help him but more likely they’re just trying to make their own jobs easier.

2. Other kids shouldn’t try to hurt him physically because of it but some will. They should be punished if caught.

3. Shame, all this could be avoided by just a little guidance from a father figure. He needs a daddy to tell him, “Son, don’t act like a fag.” That’s never going to happen so now other little boys will do his missing father’s job for him. Great job, mom.

They need to at least be expelled from school permanently.

I don’t care for My Little Pony, but bullies need there teeth kicked in.

...maybe...but it needs to be done by the kid getting bullied...

There is no way my Dad would have let me wear that thing. What is the matter with parents these days?

The boy was causing a problem at school. His brony backpack was causing a distraction and rather than sending home dozens of other kids who were taunting and teasing him (some call this bullying, I don't) the school decided (correctly) to solve this problem by telling the boy to leave his MLP at home. They might as well have told him he is a boy , so NO! He can't enter the girls restroom even if he does feel like a girl.

Anyway - the aftermath was predictable. Little Grayson gets to keep his pink pony. And the wussification of America continues.
