That has always been a possibility. I hope so and that the passengers are safe. In a way this would be the best outcome.
I don’t doubt it. We’ll find out for sure if/when it flies, repainted and ID’d, into Israel, Europe or US with a nuke. Gives me the creeps to think what they did with/to the passengers.

I think this is the most likely scenario. Make book that the US govt knows where this plane is or has a good idea and is trying to figure out what to do about it.
I don’t get why the Pakis would pixx off the Chinese by kidnapping over 100 of their citizens (or even by holding their bodies)- Pak and China have a mutual rival (”enemy”) - India
Can’t think of scenario where the Paks would want to jeopardize the aid they get from China, nor from Boeing and other western airlines who could not approve of this type of hijacking
When they find the plane in the ocean I hope they put a camera in this clowns face.
I think if nothing is found in the Southern Indian Ocean they should start looking in Pakistan..I think Obama and his cronies already know where this plane is..Israel doesn’t beef up their security for no reason..they know more than anyone..if they have the slightest info that this plane could be in the hands of Iran or Pakistan they will protect themselves..I always go for the hijack scenario since I hope and pray these passengers are still alive..even the slightest hope is better than nothing..otherwise they are entombed in the Indian Ocean
Uhhhhh -- engineers know aeronautics, mechanics, things about the plane and its flight capabilities -- not the politics of Pakistan, its terrorist groups and their hijacking capabilities.
It's Boeing engineers who gave us the satellite engine ping arcs that don't put that plane anywhere near Pakistan. So Lignet is FOS.
This incident will leave a lot of casualties in its wake and the General reputation is likely to be one of them.
I would think at least someone at the ‘source’ had a cellphone with snap shot or video capability.

Can somebody please provide an answer for me? When was the jet first reported missing and by whom? I cannot recall ever hearing this. Did the Beijing tower call Kuala Lumpur? If so, when? Was it after the plane simply failed to show up for it’s scheduled arrival? Was it a baggage crew on the tarmac that got tired of waiting for the plane to show up?
Everybody’s dead. Just like everyone of us will be one day soon.
He said 3 days ago that he would have proof in two days. Now he still doesn’t have proof.
I would not completely dismiss what he is saying but I think it is just an educated guess by now.
BTW, the distance to Iran or Pakistan is not significantly different that to Beijing. The plane could have made it with no trouble.
There is no penalty for being an idiot in America. Which is why everyone and his aunt Hazel has a theory. When it’s all over, they won’t apologize, they won’t eat crow, they’ll move on to the next thing, with their “I am certain”, “I’m sure”, “It’s obvious”, etc.
