ATT commercial with the five smart, confident business women and the milquetoast white man standing in the background keeping quiet and following the lead of the powerful women in the group. Even Mrs. Redangus finds that commercial distasteful.

Brinks commercial from a few years back where house is broken into. The husband is shown cowering in the hallway with little boys while the brave, take charge wife talks to the alarm company.

I could go on, but you get the point.

Yeah, the AT&T commercial. That RE guy is as queer as a Castro Street Proctologist.

And “Lilly” the AT&T girl, looks like she has a body that doesn’t even take a coffee break under those frumpy clothes.

Or am I the only dirty old man that noticed?

Reminds me of a book on home defense I read 45 years ago.

If someone breaks into your house go to your safe room. If the intruder tries to get into the safe room, BREAK APART A PAIR OF SCISSORS AND TAPE IT TO A BROOMHANDLE to use as a spear.

Lowes commercials....

This is a Do-It-Yourself retail establishment. They degrade men all the time. I can remember commercials where men of the family (husbands, boyfriends) were told to “step away from the hammer”. And women told the man of the house how to fix something because the stupid man would surely screw it up.

I don’t know... thats not how my house was as I was raised. It sure isn’t how it is now either. My wife looks at me anytime something is to be fixed. All tools are mine. My wife and kids cannot pronounce most tools I have.

These commercials will go as far as showing the CHILDREN rolling their eyes at the stupidity of their idiot father.

You know what would have happened to me if I had rolled my eyes at my father? shivers just thinking about it.
