Bait and switch, a more telling headline would be “Poll: Obama’s approval ratings hit an all time low!” But that would really grab the readers attention, and they would rather a reader just slide by this article.
Notice how this is said.
“Disapproval rating hits a new high.”
Why not just say, “Approval rating hits a new low” ?
We all know why.
“Obama’s approval rating stands at 41 percent.”

“Obama’s approval rating stands at 41 percent.” That percentage can still go lower, but there is a bottom limit where you reach the hard core Give-Me, entitlement slugs who would never disavow Ole’ Shuck-n-Jive.
