I went to the local range one Saturday afternoon a couple of years ago to fire an anvil. Everyone stopped shooting to watch. I only had enough powder for 2 shots, and when that was gone someone came over with some more and said “I’ll give you the powder if you’ll do that again!”
Amen. One finds the true heart of America at a range!
There’s a guy up in Alaska who’s got a bowling ball mortar he made out of an old O2 welding tank that looks like it would be a hoot. The balls make a kind of spooky whistling sound when they fly because of the finger holes.
“No LEO tickets everyone driving 31 in a 30 zone, many laws are on the books but not enforced at all, and no moral cop would obey a command to round up all members of a certain ethnic group for extermination. Police use discretion all the time.”
But many of those “not enforced” laws are a “chilling effect” nonetheless. It’s one thing to risk getting nabbed for 31 in a 30 MPH zone and pay a $100 fine. It’s another to risk violent home invasion, arrest, prosecution, and months/years of incarceration for 8 in a 30 round mag.
And yes, otherwise sensible police have many times been known to round up ethnics for extermination. LOTS of police.
Bet that would be fun. I especially like watch the fully automatics.
I’m dense, what’s an anvil? Is that a code word?
Yeh for about 24 hours. Then payback will be a beach. :-)
Can I give you my bayonet first?
Wow. What price to you ask for both of them? Because I'd prefer it if an SOB like you never has kids.
LEO’s like this Stasi-wannabe sh*tbag are making actual American LEO’s nervous, because WTSHTF, they’ll ALL (families include) be targets.
Cordially,
Dear Officer F**nuts:
That sh*t works BOTH ways, pal.
“...this Stasi-wannabe sh*tbag...”
Well, if that’s the case, I’d say it behooves them to police their own ranks of the crazies like this dumbass thug.
I know a couple guys who were “peace officers” that got out ASAFP over the last ~10 years. Why? The biggest factor was the Nazi mentality of most of the newbies; it kills the camaraderie amongst both within the ranks and with the community.
RE Newbies:
Some years back, I went to the Sheriff’s department to renew my carry. Typically, I carry my G19 and a backup wheelgun. I also carry a couple quick-open lockblades - one in my back pocket, one in my boot, and one in my side pocket.
I got the Sheriff’s department - it’s in the courthouse - and you have to place your “items” in a basket at the detector counter.
SO I’m standing there, pulling guns and blades out of every possible location on my person, and the older Sheriff Deputy starts laughing about it. I said “What?!? Don’t YOU carry backup too?” And he nodded. We were joking around back and forth, no big deal.
However...Across from him, the younger Deputy - arms all
‘roided and tatted up - is giving me the Eye Daggers. So I eyeballed him back, and then said to the older guy “What’s HIS problem?”
“He doesn’t like “civilians” carrying guns” was his answer.
So I went in, renewed, and came back out to get my stuff. As I was putting the G19 back in my shoulder holster under my jacket and getting all my other gear, I said to the older Deputy - loudly - “Tell him I’m not a “civilian”... I’m a Citizen, and this is my right.”
And I left.
Suffice to say, I could feel the glares in my back from Tats Boy as I was leaving.
You have a JBT ping list?
Do I have to threaten someone?
That’s Connecticut Navy Veteran/Firefighter John S. Cinque, who’s leading the opposition to this gun law. He’s one of the good guys.
Tell him Im not a civilian... Im a Citizen, and this is my right.
“Suffice to say, I could feel the glares in my back from Tats Boy as I was leaving.”
And that pretty well sums up what’s going on.
“...And that pretty well sums up whats going on....”
F*** ‘em. This ain’t Europe. I’m an American.
I shoot back.
