Being as the Ukrainian "government" is confiscating guns as we speak, maybe we could send the Connecticut door kickers to Ukraine for real life experience training exercises while supporting Ukraine with manpower.

I agree with the article. America should only have Officers (LEOs, Judges, Attorneys, Politicians) with an understanding of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. There are politicians that would love nothing better than LEOs, Judges and Attorneys to violate the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. What would be wonderful is to have politicians, judges, attorney and LEOs that would honor their Oaths to the People and our Constitution instead of deciding their actions based upon newly written law which is a clear violation of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights is the Law of this Land as is the Constitution and any written law which comes after is only legal as long as that law is not a violation of either. It is a sad day when those consideration are not given to the People.

I see your point but with election processes, the People would run the risk of having what we currently have in the offices of politicians at the federal, state and many local levels. Too big a risk (imho).

What the LEO in question does not realize is that he is caught in a circular argument.

Any LEO who sets aside the Constitution by enforcing unconstitutional laws, is in essence saying that the Constitution no longer has authority, the very same authority by which his office derives the just consent of the people, thereby nullifying his authority and making his actions illegal.

Well...as someone in this line of work, I wouldn’t give my left nut or right nut and excepting for loons, criminals, and cracked out drug addicts, I couldn’t care less who own guns.

In fact, I hope everyone who is sane and not a street criminal buys a couple of nice ones and lets me play with em at the range.

I got plenty of ammo and love to share. Specially at the particular range I go to.

Lot’s of very interesting arms and men willing to share their knowledge as well as let you fire off some rounds even if they are a couple a shot.

One day I’m gonna move back to Murickuh.

The gun nutz out here in CA are just stoopit. Can’t own an AR-15 that has “Colt” Stamped on it. Uhm, why? Every other one is legal, lawful and there is nothing saying they make a superior weapon or anything...

Same with allowing/disallowing models of guns.

If the gun manufacturer doesn’t pay for each and every variant of a make and model to get on the “Approved” list then it simply isn’t allowed.

That goes for triggers that are not one bit different from any other model within that category except they drilled three holes in it for aesthetics....

Man, I agree one hundred percent!

I cannot afford a class III weapon, so I am fortunate that some of the members of the range I frequent allow me to play with their noisy toys. NONE of them ever let me pay for ammo.
