As a friend in the military told some Yankee boys,
“You will end up hate blacks, because the blacks will teach you to hate them!”
They did. Something happened to those Yankee boys, they ended up being the most racist people I’ve ever seen, even worse than the southern boys.
I grew up in the Canal Zone with many Caribbean blacks...very few American blacks (almost all were military)...I’m here to tell you, that in my 18 years of living there, I never had a problem with the Caribbean blacks. Some of the nicest, honest and hardworking folks I’ve ever met in my almost 50 years.
It was always the “American” blacks who caused the problems and started the fights.
I see it today in America, the “American” blacks are some of the most discourteous, rude, obnoxious and demanding people I’ve ever come across...
So if not liking the above traits makes me a racist, so be it...
I’ve noticed among younger kids, middle school and elementary school, there is a much greater anger and disdain toward blacks than I have seen in my lifetime. I hear the dreaded n word often from kids.
This whole social justice thing is going to backfire big time. I have not heard too many girls with this attitude but a lot in the boys. I have to admit to being limited to the children in my area, but the anger and ridicule is unlike anything I have witnessed in children even when I was in school in the seventies and early eighties. Has anyone else noticed this?
I live in the South. People are more racist up north than down here.
