Mozilla's Anti-Gay-Marriage CEO Is Out
Business Insider ^ | 04/03/2014 | Jay Yarow

Mozilla's CEO Brendan Eich is out. Eich is resigning as CEO and leaving the board of Mozilla, the open-source computing company that makes the Firefox browser.

He had been under fire for supporting anti-gay marriage legislation in California in 2008.

Some Mozilla employees had been calling for his resignation on Twitter for the past week.

Dating site OkCupid changed its home page so that if someone using Firefox came to it, it would tell them about Eich and suggest they switch browsers.

I’ve been using it since 2009; very stable, slick, fast and small footprint. IE and Firefox are just bloated crapware. Chrome sneaks toolbars into your system and takes over your desktop. Otherwise, it’d be another nice browser to use as a back-up to Opera.

People need to stop all contact with libs/gays. I do not care if the are family. Bosses need to replace gay employees. Deal with the hit whatever it may be, but they are destroying you anyway. We have to make an active effort to defund/depower the left through every purchase possible...including the damn dish/cable.

Or we bend over. People need to wake up and man up. Period. Not an Obama one. This is an easy fix. They are impotent without our money.

The so-called Republican Party sits by and does NOTHING as the purple mafia gestapo tries to restrict the rights of Christians. We don’t have a country anymore

“They are amazingly efficient at removing those who step out of line, no matter what they do for a living.”

Until that “backfires”...like faulty sewer line.

“We don’t have a country anymore”

These are Judgements from God.

“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17)

I believe, that the overtaking homosexual agenda is also a Judgement from God. And rather than always being at battle with them, we should be crying out to God for His help. He would put a stop to all things unjust. For HIS Namesake.

“If My people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2Chronicles 7:14).

However, God has a limit to how long He will tolerate the arrogance of America’s sin.

“The LORD said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man” (Genesis 6:3).

java is junk.

java has nothing to do with JavaScript.

When Brendan Eich developed the language, it was supposed to be called LiveScript, not JavaScript.

But the brainless marketdroids were in awe of Sun at the time and changed its name at the last moment in hopes of hitching a ride to glory on the coattails of Sun's brainchild, Java. Which crashed and burned (client-side anyway). Killed first by Flash, and now by HTML5, which is powered by Brendan Eich's creation, JavaScript.

“In short - you will be denied what it takes to live if you do not seig-heil the Beast.”

Those that belong to God will be “sustained”, until removed. We must not FEAR our enemies. It is their food source.

However, if you DO act in accordance with the Beast, “living” will not be what you know it to be right now. Jesus warns us what life will be like for those who worship the Beast.

I hope so too. I didn’t do that because I wanted my thoughts public. I posted my anger on their Facebook page. I have FB to keep in touch with my out-of-state sisters and a few of my former co-workers but it does occasionally come in handy for things like this.

We need a list of technology companies that are Pro Family and against Gay Marriage.

I doubt there are any.

In one of the articles I read his great crime was donating something like $500 to the cause. Perhaps double that but that’s all. Can’t believe this Leftist Fascism. Talk about bullying.

I’ve thought all over as well, I guess there is nobody he can sue but it sure seems like he should have that right. “Constructive Dismissal” against Firefox Mozilla? I might write them a letter.

Also, I read up on something similar once before. Was his name published in a newspaper ad or something as supporting Prop 8 with a donation??

Or did the activists find some sort of list of contributors and decide they’d blacklist him economically for that??

Apparently, the IRS leaked to the Human Rights Campaign (gay marriage group) the names of donors to the National Association for Marriage (traditional marriage group).

Okcupid doesn’t have that message up, I’d never heard of them before and dating sites are a dime a dozen. The opening page has you choosing “straight, bisexual, gay”.

“Eich donated $1,000 in 2008 in support of California’s Proposition 8, which banned gay marriage in the state until it was struck down by the Supreme Court in June.”

http://news.yahoo.com/mozilla-says-ceo-resigns-amid-gay-marriage-controversy-195338477.html

So again, Breitbart might well be the place to go to find out how the “activists” knew this.

Yes, Breitbart website found out, they found out he made his contribution through “donor lists”, that’s kind of scary if that was the only way they found out about this.

“....This donation came to light in 2012 when activists began to use donor lists from the Prop 8 campaign to “out” supporters of traditional marriage.”

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/03/31/Gay-Rights-Activists-are-Going-After-Firefox-Next

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2014/04/03/Andrew-Sullivan-Brendan-Eich-s-Ouster-from-Mozilla-Disgusts-Me

Interestingly, Andrew Sullivan, renown gay columnist says:

“This state of affairs prompted Andrew Sullivan, a gay author and columnist, to essentially accuse gay activists of quashing Eich’s First Amendment rights: “The whole episode disgusts me – as it should disgust anyone interested in a tolerant and diverse society,” he wrote. “If we are about intimidating the free speech of others, we are no better than the anti-gay bullies who came before us.”
