Opera’s great, I use it all the time as, what I can consider, a superior alternative to Firefox, Chrome, etc.

Perhaps you misunderstood me. I am NOT saying conservatives are the problem. If there is a remedy it will be from conservatives who act conservatively. But it is quite clear that a very small percentage of the population ACTS conservatively. There are obviously many who poll conservatively that are not acting so.

Also, your quote of my words “intolerance and bigotry” makes me think you misunderstood that as well. Conservatives are always being accused of “intolerance and bigotry”. My point is that not only that these accusations are untrue, I wish they were closer to the truth. We NEED to be less tolerant and have more of what the left calls bigotry and hatefulness. A lot of people who identify as conservative will not agree with me that the death penalty is warranted for homosexual acts.

At the time of our independence, all 13 colonies had laws treating homosexual acts as capital offenses. These were all subsequently changed to less severe punishments, but it was still a criminal matter in the states for quite some time. Gradually it has shifted to something people overheard rumors about until today it is advertised as normal and even glamorized. Not only is there no consequence to this behavior (by law), but those who disagree with it are being punished.

I am speaking for myself. I have not done enough. I want to do more.

You are speaking for yourself. If you think you are able to answer God on judgment day that you did all that was humanly possible to stop this evil, then congratulations, what I said does not apply to you.

God would have spared Sodom if he could have found just a few righteous men in it. Unfortunately he found only one. And that one was so influenced by the evil he was immersed in, he failed to protect his own family.

My question is, when will it be enough to stand up and fight? Do the homosexuals have to be beating down our doors demanding to hand over the visitors “that we may know them”?

You, like most of us, are probably willing to fight to the death to stop them at your doors. But do we love our neighbors as ourselves when we are allowing these people to adopt orphaned and abandoned children?

“You should be careful in your sweeping accusations, unlearner. There are a large number of Christians who do speak for the innocent, and the widows and orphans. They also organized ministries to help the poor and forgotten.”

Perhaps it is not what you intend, but your comment reads like, “You are wrong, unlearner. Don’t get too worked up over this issue. We are doing enough.” Well, I hope it is true of you that you are doing all you can. And I am sure you are right that there are many who are doing a lot. And I am sure they will be rewarded in Heaven for their faithfulness in this wicked and perverse generation.

Speaking for myself, I do not feel satisfied. And I do feel there are many conservative minded people who are just too exhausted or apathetic or afraid to try harder. So I am not trying to insult you or any other conservatives. I am venting my frustration at how evil our society has become, and that it seems to be moving in the wrong direction still.

If more conservatives do not stand up, this nation will end up like Nazi Germany. It is very close.

Spent a few minutes on the reviews. All the negatives I saw were complaints about the MaskMyEmailAddress part of it, which doesn’t bother me personally. I did see anything regarding privacy concerns nor sending results to Google per your post.

Also there was talk about a lot of popups. The only one I experience is the email address blocker so I suspect that is just exaggeration.

If you don't want to use Google Chrome (I don't), there are a number of other browsers based on the open-source Chromium code, just as Chrome is. Many of these remove or reduce Google's ability to stalk you through your browser. For example, there's SRWare Iron.

So silly. To express displeasure at Mozilla, you go running into the arms of Microsoft or Google, two companies that have demonstrated their left-wing biases countless times.

Dropping Firefox is like dropping Fox News for CNN or MSNBC.

Thank you for the clarification.

Although homosexuality was deemed a criminal act, I do not agree that it is Biblically supported as such. All sexual acts outside of traditional marriage are wrong. If two consenting adults engage in sexual intercourse outside of the a marriage relationship, that’s sin, but not punishable by law.

“You are speaking for yourself. If you think you are able to answer God on judgment day that you did all that was humanly possible to stop this evil, then congratulations, what I said does not apply to you.”

Don’t presume to speak for God. I was bought with Christs blood. My journey through this life is about faithfully serving the Lord, not going around and playing the self-righteous judge. I am freed by grace, and commanded to love others as I love myself. The Lord didn’t command me to judge others as He judges to the point of condemnation.

Your example of Sodom and Gomorrah does not stand here. There are God’s righteous here in this country. What do you mean, Lot failed to protect his own family? This is not true. Furthermore, it has been argued that Lot offer his daughters only because he KNEW the men of the village would NOT desire them.

“My question is, when will it be enough to stand up and fight?”

As I stated previously, there are Christians and Christian organizations who are actively engaged in our social issues on a number of levels.

“Perhaps it is not what you intend, but your comment reads like, “You are wrong, unlearner. Don’t get too worked up over this issue. We are doing enough.”

Your presumptions are incorrect. You made a blanket statement. You are generalizing.

“Speaking for myself, I do not feel satisfied.”

That’s good. You shouldn’t feel satisfied. The Lord didn’t promise us satisfaction. He told us to be in the world, but not of it.

Here is the most important issue in my view. Are we faithfully serving Christ? It is not our job to fear over what’s going on. This is not news to us. The Lord has told us in His Word that wars and rumors of wars will be with us. He revealed to us that until Christ returns, this world will be filled with sorrow and strife. Our promise, comfort, reassurance, and peace is with Christ, my friend. Not what’s unfolding in America or any place else, for that matter.

Keep the faith and run the race. It rains and shines on both the believer as well as the unbeliever. We are secure in Christ.

Best Regards,
TJI

You’re being a little silly by assuming that I’m “running into the arms of Microsoft or Google.”

If you weren’t so emotional and bothered to actually read my posts you’d realize that I stated that if MS or Google were the only options, I would remain with Mozilla.

OrangeHoof said:

Ahem.....I guess it’s your self-elected job to police free speech around here. Apparently it’s “silly” to protest a company which punishes a Conservative for actions unrated to his job.

Dropping ignorant assumptions is like dropping ignorant assumptions. It’s ignorant.

Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften war stance
...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.

Most of the time I use Chrome. My second choice is Opera, for pages that don’t load well in Chrome. Also, Opera is beyond doubt the best browser for saving and viewing .MHT files.

'Liberals' have redefined the term "tolerance' to mean "You must accept my ideas or lose your job"... Yeah, we're all charmed...
