I wonder if this guy realizes how closely Frank & Claire Underwood are modeled after the Clintons....

Jeb Bush: the murderer of Terri Schiavo.

He is unfit for any public office.

The author's connection with the New Republic tells you where he stands ideologically.

This is the same tactic used 2 1/2 years before the 1964 election, to try to pimp Nelson Rockefeller as the Republican candidate against Kennedy. While Goldwater defeated Rockefeller fairly easily, the Rockefeller wing than sabotaged Goldwater--who also suffered from the six month honeymoon that Republicans gave LBJ, after the assassination, November 22, 1963. What is forgotten, that but for the assassination, Goldwater was on track to actually win in 1964.

The other lesson from 1962 - 1964, is that Goldwater failed to smile very often. Reagan with the same ideological background never made the same mistake, which made him much, much harder to smear convincingly.

To return to the present, defeating Jeb in the primaries should not be much of a problem. Just smile, when you expose his superficiality & politically correct sloganizing. He is not the serious intellect that is being fantasized by those in the Party who have compromised principle, at America's expense. (Come to think of it; they aren't very bright either.)

The GOP-e needs to think about this long and hard:

I’d rather have Hilary for President.

At least then the knives wouldn’t be in my back.

I won’t sit Jeb out. I’ll actively vote against him.

You’ve been warned.

Damon Linker is a snake whose specialty has always been betrayal of those who place their trust in him. I see he has now turned his attention to betraying his country.

It's not hard to understand why. Even without a replay of the Bachmann-Cain-Gingrich-Perry-Paul GOP primary freak show of 2012,

No bias here!

Ask yourself this question: if the media and Democrats really, really wanted Republicans to lose BIG in 2016, why don't they suggest we run Sarah Palin for President? I mean, they hate her, right? They believe she is so stupid she can't possibly win, right?

Nope. They don't suggest Palin precisely because she would win, and they know it.

The magazine, “The Week”, I don’t know for certain but it seemed like a Parade type of magazine, something one would read on an airplane. I don’t know which way it leans, seems totally to be puff journalism.

Article doesn’t mention the main challenger in 2012 whom turned out to be Santorum I woulod say.

Saying it again, I’ve got to think “The Week” means nothing, it’s something you might read in a commercial airliner on a trip. Maybe it comes out every week but it’s got to be very thin, 30 pages or so.

Republicans may be realizing that. Most conservatives are not.
