Many parallel roads track next to highways. And there are feeder roads that run parallel before turning left onto the main highway. A person coming off a major highway must merge with the feeder road, but if there is a turn-off from the feeder that the exiting vehicle wants to take ... bingo bango if not paying close attention.
...if not paying close attention.
I never, ever, turn to the left . . . for any reason.
If your number is up, that's it.
I see so many twilight commuters drive ordinary cars with lights off well after sunset, and add to this the ones who text while driving, and well....
I’ve gotten used to DRL’s. Great safety feature. I’ve never felt the need to disable mine.
In my neighborhood there is an intersection where there is a left turn lane and you go on the green arrow or later turn on your own with the green light.
I guess there was to many accidents. So now you can only make a left turn on the green arrow.
New Jersey jug-handles to the rescue!
Or we just want to see you get hit. Never attribute to stupidity what can be explained by the pure human nature of wanting to see cars crash into each other.
Dunno, I watched the FedEx truck hook a left onto my road this morning
i want to get rid of leftists, not left turns.
F U Nanny State
why not actually jail’drunk drivers who cause accidents? why not plea bargain away driving violations from fleeing criminals?
they can cut down on this crap by enforcing existing laws.
Don’t worry. When the environmentalists do their study showing that NJ style jug handles consume x% more fuel due to all the extra driving, this idiocy will never go anywhere. It’ll be idiots fighting idiots.
A lot of those places also have Roundabouts.
I confess that when I see it happen, the first thing I think of is, “are they doing it on purpose, hoping to set up a wreck?”
The left is just plain bad news, in every way.
