apparently DC insiders have given oil drilling permists for the same land...The report I've seen posted here refers to an article that specifically stated the auction for leases took place in Reno for leases near Wells, NV. Wells, NV is 340 miles east of Reno on I-80. Wells is 350 miles north of Bunkerville (where Mr. Bundy resides) up US 93 (after taking I-15 west toward Las Vegas and then using highway 168 to cut between I-15 and US 93). The leases mentioned in that article are for nowhere near Bunkerville.
