Bundy Ranch Standoff: Meet the BLM thug who tackled a 57-year old woman. (See my post entitled, “Margaret Bundy Houston Tells Town Board of Being Tackled by BLM: Feds Take Cattle Watering System.”)

His name is Michael Roop. Roop is a State Staff Ranger for BLM, Oregon and to put it mildly, on the internet, this punk with a gun, badge, pepper spray and a K-9 is trending.

Are there pictures of the confiscation and smashing of phones?

What about pictures of the $30 chits?

This story needs validation - and then spreading...

We were all wondering why the government bought all those rounds of ammunition?

I do not think any of us were wondering about the gov’t ammo buys. We KNEW what they intend, and are just now seeing the rollout

There needs to be a “list” somewhere that details where all this ammo is stored,

so it can be “liberated” as necessary.

Uncle Chip:" The Nevada BLM thugs are currently setting up operations at the Red River in Texas."

Well that being the case, it is best to know the armory and tactics employed by BLM, and the other Federal agencies:
Mass of force with 200 agents from out of area (not identifiable locals) or what you called :"Import A Thug "
Agents wore uniforms identifying various law enforcement agencies, while wearing balaclava ( limiting ability for identifying that officer)
Deployed Force including agents armed with sniper rifles and scopes on the high ground ( for intimidation factor)
Agents wearing armour plate , electronic earpiece radio communications implying central command elsewhere.
Mass oppression through frequent display of semi-automatic/automatic weapons
Frequent threat / display use of non-lethal weapons ( tazer , pepper spray)
Road blocks on State roads / interstates for control of access and egress to control witnesses /participants
Eliminate cell phone towers ( control the mass public information / control non-agency communication)
Also , allegations of cell phone confiscation at road blocks, possibly destroyed , and alledgely issued a $30.oo 'chit' for replacement.
Control the (cattle) hostages by removal elsewhere ( create geographical division of rebelious resources) thus creating another distraction
Use of agency helicopters for surviellance and cattle round-up.
FAA Created a "no fly zone " in the area (elimination of current crisis information to the general news media)
Bureau of Land Management shreds website of information regarding proposed land usage (protect political and economic plans for usage)
According to " Notice of Temporary Closure on Public Lands (BLM plan published in Federal Register in March)
Bureau Land Management stated intent to return to the courts with unlimited Federal funds for further litigation after the elections.
Those are some interesting tactics employed by BLM in regards to trespassing cattle on BLM lands.
Expect the same , or quite similar tactics as well.

No, but I’d imagine now that he retired from the FBI, he’s pulling down some cush government job or in a contractor position at a government location. Somewhere where Americans who hate tyranny and murder don’t have a say in their employment.

If one will recall, Jaime Gorelick was the principle that established the DOJ “wall” between the FBI and the CIA. You know, the one that prevented free flow of information that may well have helped prevent 9/11?

Further, one might also recall that Jaime Gorelick was a principal dictator in the government’s mortgage agencies (Fannie Mae or Freddie Mack, I forget which). She, along with Jim Johnson and Franklin Raines were awarded multiple millions in bonuses during their tenure that ruled over the runup and collapse of the mortgage housing bubble.

As insidious and viperous a person as one could ever imagine. Truly despicable.

The reasons why this was a successful stalemate with BLM / Bundy farm :

Notariety , and public display of intimidation by the FED
This publicity caused civil unrest, aggitated Constitutional, 'Property rights', and militia groups, and the word got out.
Other neighbors had been intimidated by Fed threats and intimidation.
The numbers of concerned and committed people who showed up outnumbered the Federal agencies.
Crowd control by agency road blocks were minimized by cowboys on horses,'four-wheelers' ,and back-country trekkers.
High ground snipers were out maneuvered by locals and trekkers thereby compromizing their safety and security.
Adapt , adjust , improvise , and succeed !

Despite controlling public access to communications, the numbers of interested parties increased and surpassed the number of Fed agents.
The brusque behavior and intimidating behavior of the Fed agents was publicly noted in local media
The entire issue almost began a "Range War", totally ignoring local history, heritage, and property rights.
Lastly , anyone caught "cattle-rustleing" could by hung !

The feds and Obama will not let this stand. They will try to come back with new tactics. Perhaps blocking social media comms in the area first.

West Point should be ashamed.

Interesting comments.

I remember at Waco, the MSM pretty much was able to whip up public scorn for the Davidians so there wasn’t much local support.

In this case, the MSM wasn’t able to accomplish that.

I’m guessing identification and arrest of nameless armed protestors. What will be our response when that happens?
