Obama on Monday honored those killed in a weekend attack at two Jewish facilities in Kansas, saying no one should have to worry about their security while gathering with their fellow believers....

He would have been criticized as well if he hadn’t said anything.
He need not comment. Just let law enforcement do their job. Several people were murdered over the last few days. He can just be quiet about all of them.

Yes, if the shooter had been black, Obama wouldn’t have said anything, and probably the media outside the KC area would have ignored the story too.
