Glenn, you were never my friend in the first place.

And your statement that "And God does not call anyone to anger ” is just a wee bit (somewhere in the neighborhood of 180 degrees) off from what is noted in the Good Book.

“Beck has officially gone crazy.”

I believe the correct interpretation is, “We don’t start the fight, but we don’t run from the one somebody started against us.”

Cliven Bundy is concerned only with “Stand your ground”, and while some of his reasoning is based on a different premise, I end up agreeing pretty much with what he has done and intends to continue doing.

There will NOT be an assault carried out against Harry Reid’s personal residence, or against the BLM headquarters in Las Vegas. That would only invite overwhelming retaliation on the part of the Feral government.

The Bundy ranch is now off limits to such an incursion as was faced down a few days ago at the I-15 overpass. The Feral people may very well WANT to come back, but it shall cost them dearly if they should choose that course of action.

“Don’t Tread on Me” is more than a slogan on a flag.

Just a couple weeks ago he literally said “I stand with GLAAD” Now anyone who has signed on with those perverts is no friend of conservatism.

I heard Becks talk this AM. It isn’t revenge, it is self-defense...

“This morning I got up and I saw some more news reports, and more people in America that are standing up now and crying for revolution, insurrection, arming yourself, and a call to arms . . . I will tell you I believe in the Second Amendment, and I will defend myself. I believe in the rights that we have."

I believe in arming ourselves as a precaution and in the Second Amendment as a stronger protection than the First Amendment. The First is worded as a fairly strong "Congress shall make no law" while the Second is worded as the even stronger "shall not be infringed." The Second is an absolute, and I believe in it as the surest guarantee of freedom, but only for so long as we take personal responsibility for defending freedom.

"But I will tell you more than I believe in my rights, I believe in the responsibilities that we have to God. And God does not call anyone to anger. God does not call anyone to vengeance ever, ever, ever."

I read the Bible differently.

Luke 22:36,38 "Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough."

To me, that says clearly that there are times to fight ("he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one"; although there are times not to fight as when Jesus was arrested) but that fighting should only be a last resort, in moderation (here are two swords . . . it is enough). Fighting, even with deadly weapons, is not necessarily about vengeance, and it is not necessarily forbidden.

I personally believe that Beck is up and down. I agree with some things he says and disagree with others. On this issue, I think Mr. Bundy is right in that the Fed has control over far too much land and that the law is fundamentally wrong.
However, law is law and respect for the law is what has set this nation apart from many others for a long time.

What needs to be done is to change the law. THAT is the goal they should be going for now. The fight needs to be a legal one. I believe he has the support to accomplish this now.

Glenn Beck has a message for anyone who is “crying for revolution, insurrection … and a call to arms”: He wants nothing to do with you.

When a government becomes tyrannical, the citizens have the perfect right to overthrow that government and restore natural rights. Natural rights are God-given, and it is our natural duty to preserve and protect them.God would approve of this.

Good grief, the Mormons are crazy. First you have Harry Reid, then Glen Beck, to say nothing of Cliven Bundy. What is WRONG??

Well! You did it guys... The Bundy cattle are free to graze for free on federal land, and you “the tax” payer gets to foot the bill, while this rich rancher gets to profit from it! Yay! The Federal Government has lost billions of dollars on things like General Motors, solar projects, food stamps and EBT cards, fraud waste and abuse in Medicare, the “stimulus,” and any number of pork “bridge to nowhere” projects... The liberals squander billions (if not trillions!) As a conservative, those things outrage me, as i thought it did my fellow conservatives... But they strangely ignore Bundy’s crime of “taking” something from the Government! Not only taking from the government... But he’s exactly like those on food stamps and welfare who are able to work but are beating the system and allowing joe tax payer to foot the bill! All my conservatives supporting Bundy have now set a new precedent! You’re all such followers! Your disdain for the federal government, has neared you to “bleeding heart” status! You all just jumped on this bandwagon blindly, because your blog buddies support it! Or you saw an opportunity to hold your gun in protest! I’m really disappointed in many of you! Next thing we know, you’ll be grabbing your guns, banning together to stop the oil pipeline... because a building on public land might be torn down, causing the tenet who lives there, who hasn’t paid rent in 25 years to have to vacate! Bang up job guys!

This episode illustrates how the left is much better at effective propaganda than the right. If the situation were reversed, the left would get a photo of their guy - the brave, lone citizen - single-handedly facing down a federal SWAT team with their guns trained on him. This would immediately flip public opinion and make the lone guy seem sympathetic and heroic. But the right has a bunch of armed men join the lone guy, turning it into a standoff of guns versus guns and giving more credibility to the government’s position.

Where in the Constitution does it say that unelected government agencies and agents can have many of the weapons of an army and can use these weapons against American citizens without due process? NO where. These unconstitutional actions are what the BLM , IRS ,EPA and other agencies are doing.

And Glenn Beck the fraud supports the government agencies doing this

Beck is a dramaqueen blowhard. He talks tough to get an audience. He is a liar, a hype queen, a crybaby, anything but a patriotic American. He is ALWAYS the first to fold, run, and cower.

Since when is standing with someone against evil government, “vengeance”? It’s not revenge. Good grief he doesn’t even kow what words mean.

Then again I haven’t listened to him in years. He kind of went off the deep end for me personally.

He’s not worried because he has lots of homofacist friends who “like” Glenn. He’s in a cult and supports the homofacist agenda. Why people listen to him is beyond me.
