That's a legitimate question, and it's in line with an earlier poster's comment that this confrontation should be used as an opportunity to examine current laws and policies to see if they should be changed, not to strut around with guns in a situation that could lead to unnecessary tragedy.

That’s a problem with any bureaucracy. It can lose the principles which were hoped in when it was set up.

Since the EPA has decreed that CO2 is a toxic gas, it seems obvious that reduction of CO2 from Range Fires by paying Cattle Ranchers to reduce Range Fire severity would be a worthy investment for the EPA, and the Global Warmists.
