I have completely changed my mind about big business and the chamber of commerce and country club types who seem to make up the Republican establishment. I used to think they were on our side and I believed in giving them everything they wanted to make us prosperous and me as well. That is over. I now believe they should just pay their damn taxes and they should pay a lot of them. This amnesty treason has really opened my eyes to these people. They should pay their taxes just like Rich libs need to do and deserve to do. Until the border is secure and until cheap rich Republicans buy us some media they should pay through their damn noses.

I think he confuses “Conservative establishment” with “Republican establishment” and in most cases he’s actually describing the latter.

I do not believe the voters in Ohio have the courage to do anything about this politician...

Equally so in the Senate with McConnell, or McCain, or any other establishment GOPe type...

Cornyn of Texas certainly bought himself another 6 years into that office...The Texas GOP saw fit to see that happen...

This is going to take a lot longer than anyone had thought before...And it is going to take $$$$$$$ to get it done...

Until then, involvement in trying to infiltrate and sway Chamber of Commerce’s around the country may not be the way to go...I just do not see their political positions changing until they start losing memberships, and dollars from big businesses and other forms of social events or fundraising...They will always find new avenues of revenue generation well before grassroots have a chance to usurp those sources...

Its just the nature of the system we have now...The grassroots need to find our nitch and keep the establishment out of the process as much as possible...Yeah, we might need to be very exclusive and critical of politicians trying to get into our sandbox and leave their own “tootsie rolls” buried in there to stink up our litter boxes, for lack of a better analogy...

Honestly I lost my faith in the republican party when they reelected John Boehner as Speaker, and thus effective leader, despite his failures sense taking that position.

I was already on the edge on the reelection of the Actual head of the RNC Reinhold Reince Priebus. Who has been nothing but a gross disaster sense he took over in 2011 stealing defeat from the jaws of victory

Reinhold Reince Priebus only managed to steal Defeat from the jaws of victory in 2012, like his counterpart John Boehner who has alienated the base and failed with the ‘moderates’.

Michael Steele actually brought us 2010.

Whatever theses people actually did the results speak for themselves. Traditionally when a man loses as badly as John Boehner and Reinhold Reince Priebus have lost you step down if for no other reason than to give the party a fresh start.

When the Republican establishment failed to replace theses men they demonstrated they had no desire for victory.

"Where is the conservative establishment?"

De-established. Give the contemporary political folks enough rope, and... Most people working are getting their incomes from government either directly or indirectly. Nearly all who are receiving incomes are receiving their incomes from government. That's the voter base, and both parties are contending for it.

Re: “Where is the conservative establishment?”

I'd be happy if I knew who was IN the Conservative establishment.

Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee?

I would probably vote for Rand Paul, but his position on Immigration, on Defense spending, and on the defense of Israel do not impress me as Conservative.

At the national level, traditional Conservatives have no organization and no obvious national leaders.

No leadership means no coherent message and no political strategy.

And that means disarray, which is exactly what we have had since Newt Gingrich moved Left and self-destructed in 1998.
