There is a new wrinkle in rights-denial and the lame-stream media told you nothing, except we want to get as many people into the background-check system as possible, to make everyone safer. 90% of the public supports this. (92%, according to a democrats party mailer with Mr. Obamas name on it)
First, let me repeat: 90% of the public doesnt support much of anything, especially gun stuff, so that number, like most news numbers these days, especially from advocates, politicians or government (unelected apparatchiks) is totally bogus (John Lott dissected their ludicrous math). Even so, try this thought experiment opinion poll: The bill proposed for universal background-checks will create a government list of everyone in America who owns firearms, and makes a criminal out of anyone whose list of guns is inaccurate or incomplete. Do you support this? Still 92% in favor? Not. I described the actual bill in plain English last year: http://www.gunlaws.com/Page9Folder100up/PageNine-122.htm

90% of the 8 million Obamacare enrolees, of which 50% are children under the age of ten, and who’s parents sustain themselves on 80% government assistance, who pay no taxes, and would give up their personal liberty for another $50 on their EBT card and an Obamaphone, of who have not paid the premiums for their Obamacare coverage.
Yup. Paid no taxes but will no doubt get a “refund”. How does that work? LOL! I know, rhetorical.
I got my own “thought experiment”. “How many Feds would be killed following any further incursions against our Liberties?”. A. 1,000. B. 10,000. C. 100,000

Bttt
I live in CA where firearms registration is mandatory. Without going into detail, I had contact with an armed DOJ (swat attire) team. They had a list of all weapons attributed to me.
There were 2 of my 14 handguns that had incorrect serial numbers. One was a Bulgie Mak where the crylic data from the slide was used instead of the importers SN on the frame. The other was a Glock missing one digit in the SN.
I was able to show my original purchase paperwork and these wonderful gov't public servants didn't confiscate my weapons. I did get the issue resolved later. The CA DOJ has sent me a complete list of all firearms in my name.
Sounds like a “plus” to me. Like they’re doing you a favor by keeping an itemized inventory for you so you are “free” to do other things. :>}
Check list so as to not miss any when loading the boat.
Well prepared for the confiscations, they are. Did you "register" the Claymores in the bushes by the walkway? (just kidding, we know it's only IEDs).
CA didn’t start registering long guns until Jan 2014, so all mine are not listed. Handgun registration has been on the books for eons, but, like many others, I did have a boating accident.
I feel safer knowing that You’re safer knowing that We All are safer.
Doing it for the Children.
And Safety!
Who said I was safer? But, I get your point.
Former felon G. Gordon Liddy has commented on his radio show about just how many guns Mrs. Liddy has stashed around the house (for ready access in the event of home invasion).
