But Seriously, Just How Slow-Witted is John Boehner? "I frankly think you’re sort of stupid."
am thinker ^ | 4/21/14 | c edmund wright

Posted on 04/21/2014 3:52:22 AM PDT by bestintxas

As he moves from lobbyists to the golf course, from press conferences to the tanning bed, he remains oblivious to all that is around him. He has power, incredible power, and yet to this day he has no understanding of the election that made it so. Moreover, all around him are astonishing opportunities for him to be an historic figure -- one who could and should be the man who did more than any other single person in turning back the red tide of Obama. It’s all there for Speaker of the House, and yet John Boehner manages to miss it all -- as he guarantees his spot as the most spectacular failure in the history of Speakers of the House.

So seriously, just how dense is this guy? I’m not being flippant, or overly dramatic. His performance, in light of the momentous circumstances, necessitates just that question in the most literal and serious sense. Mr. Boehner, I frankly think you’re sort of stupid. Either that, or you are plagued by an amazing lack of situational awareness.

Consider: For months, the IRS has done their best to guarantee that they are known as nothing but part of the Democratic Party election machine. Lois Lerner remains such an unsympathetic figure that the last public photo of her might as well have been a set of legs with red slippers sticking out from under a house. Elijah Cummings has been exposed as a corrupt and inarticulate embarrassment, and an email trail is emerging that would make Nixon’s use of the IRS look like child’s play. This one scandal is an incredible teaching opportunity of the inherent evils of the liberal bureaucratic political state. Donald Rumsfeld understands this. Boehner? Not so much. He’s talking about immigration deform.

Boehner stifles every effort to even slow the power grab by Obama and his ilk. I believe the speaker to be an obvious turncoat that not only opposes what he should be promoting but continues to cloak and confuse even the most obvious threats to our freedom.
He even publicly states his opposition to the most active members of the Conservative base and that they (we) should be crushed.
He must be either dirty or has no moral compass. Either way, he needs to be thrown out of his positions of power.

“Boehner is about as sharp as a beach ball”

John Boehner is a perpetual drunk. His is never sober and
maintains a continuous drunken stupor. When he wakes up he
has a drink. He sips booze all day and has a swig before bed.
The red face, blurry red eyes and the constant dead pan
gaze are the tell. He’s a stupid alchy.

Bonehead is owned and operated by K Street and hates The Gop base.
Bonehead’s entire staff run K. street.

http://www.newsmax.com/Politics/boehner-staff-lobbying-firms/2013/06/26/id/512008/

That is why the Dems and the Dem DC media complex have not tried to destroy him unlike Newt and The Hanmer who were targeted and wiped out.
The Dems know he is a drunk and sell out but he is their Guy and he hates the Gop base more than them.
Once he leaves there will be books written about the utter depths of corruption that make Tammy Hall look like a Kids birthday party.

you're forgetting the influence of his daughter and her husband.

To take a hard line on immigrants and being tough on Bath House Barry would create a family problem.

The Answer is really Simple, The GOP Establishment really want to use all these tools (False Authority/Power) in the future so they are NOT Standing on Principles or for the Rights of the Citizens. In other words they are the same as the DNC but they want to control the strings...

Flush them All!

We are a nation of subjects whose lives and businesses are being destroyed, largely by people we will never meet and cannot confront.

Which is why I support "guerrilla" efforts to post pictures and addresses of these bureaucrats on the internet for anyone to see. The must no longer feel safe to screw people over like they have in the past. They need to understand that people they want to step on know who they are and where they live.

This is what the bureaucratic state does, and there is supposed to be a political party that opposes this.

Unfortunately, the only political party that does is ridiculed and marginalized by people who should know better... and it doesn't start with an "R" or a "D."

There is a political base of supporters that damned sure do.

And they still support a party that is hostile to their goals.

Never in our history can our arguments be made simply from the daily headlines. Never has the battlefield of ideas been so softened by reality. Never has there been such a possibility for a Speaker of the House of the opposition party.

Never before has it been so obvious that there's only one party in Washington, D.C.: the Ruling Class Power Party.

I’m just hoping somebody will wake the heck up. I know that some, like Hollywood, sincerely think they are fighting the good fight trying to save the poor and pull them up.

The deal is the middle class help keep Hollywood looking down from their hill on high. And they are helping to destroy the middle class with their bleeding hearts.

Most of the middle class have been treading water for a while now. What savings? All these little waves from ‘helping the poor’ are wearing down the middle class.
https://www.wellsfargo.com/press/2013/20131023_middleclasssurvey

If Boehner and those with the power to do something don’t wake the L up, they’ll have nothing to lord over.

There aren’t enough rich people who can stay rich without continued in-flows of cash. The middle class is their in-flow for the most part. It’s the middle class that are entertained by and purchase their stuff.

The cost of food is starting to soar and that wave will certainly take its toll on the middle class. The middle class can’t take much more of this.

If Boehner doesn’t put down his golf balls and scotch long enough to ponder and quit letting crony capitalist and lobbyist drive him. Then all these high rollers will start to find themselves rolling a little lower everyday.

Maybe then they will see it from average, middle class eyes. That will be too late though. It will take a long time to build back a strong middle class.

I dislike the entire ideology of the Democrat party ... liberalism, cultural Marxism, moral relativism, dependency, big bigger biggest government, etc.

But I despise the gutless, spineless, stupid, unprincipled Republicans for PRETENDING to be an opposition to the Democrats, and thereby enabling every bad aspect of government. Boehner is the poster-boy for the Republicans.

I live in his district (actually within a few miles of his house) and this election is different. The Republican candidate here will win the district, no question - a Democrat doesn’t have a chance. But he is facing three primary challengers. We have received a lot of calls doing polling, mostly generic poll of whether we will be voting for him or not in the primary. I think these were funded by his organization as they did not name a challenger, which he would not want to do as that would only enhance the name recognition. Also getting calls from one of the challengers, unfortunately not the one I think would be the best replacement. Boehner’s own mailings are increased a lot from prior primaries, so he is feeling some heat.

Unfortunately I don’t think any of the challengers has consolidated enough support to oust Boehner.

Republicans need to primary someone against Boehner.

According to this article, he has 3 primary opponents.
http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/politics/2014/04/24/boehner-mocks-colleagues-immigration-reform/8101699/

Does anyone know something about the opponents? Like thier names and even better websites?

While none of the three challengers has substantial political experience (actually a good thing as it seems to encourage compromising core principles very quickly), the best of the three, in my opinion, is businessman Eric Gurr. He appears to have substantial life experience and the willingness to do the right thing in the face of opposition. The candidate who is making a name for himself by playing on Boehner’s name is J.D. Winteregg, a French teacher. Nice enough young man, but just doesn’t have that ‘gravitas’ which makes people take you seriously beyond your core group of supporters. Gurr is a more serious candidate (and Freeper - don’t know if the others are). Matthew Trisler is the third candidate.

Winteregg has made waves with his “electile dysfunction” ad - but that level of immaturity I would leave to the Democrats and not want in the resume of my elected leader.

At this point my vote is with Gurr, though I am a realist and only see the challengers making some, potentially substantial, dent in Boehner’s primary win.
