Isn’t FReeper Eric Gurr in the race?
JD Winteregg was the first candidate to announce he was running for Boehner’s seat. Then Eric Gurr announced also. I was at the last debate they had, when Winteregg won the Tea Party Leadership endorsement. These are both great guys, I told someone I wish they could job-share!!
I though long and hard about who I would support. I came to the conclusion that I would go with JD, simply because of that endorsement. It was a painful decision.
I feel that the Tea Party folks, myself included, have worked so hard to matter in the political scene, that if we can’t stick together and back one candidate, then all the work will be for nothing, and will give ammunition to people who say the Tea Party is dead.
