Rand to Introduce Bill to Halt Palestinian Aid Following Fatah-Hamas Accord

According to a statement by Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, he is planning to propose a bill that would suspend the US government's aid to the Palestinians.

The proposal is said to be a response to the reconciliation between Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas-led Fatah and Hamas, which is the militant Islamist group that currently rules the Gaza Strip. Moreover, Haaretz said that the proposal also follows the warnings issued by key Congressional appropriators Nita Lowey and Kay Granger, who has voted to cut off financial aid to the Palestinian Authority in the wake of the Palestinians' warming to the militant Islamist group.

"Israel cannot be expected to negotiate with an entity that does not believe it should exist, and has used terrorist tactics to seek its end," Paul said about the proposed bill.

Haaretz said that Paul is a strong contender for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination. He is also considered a leader of the GOP's so-called isolationist wing, of which the majority believes in a robust foreign policy and supports Israel.

Rand knows his family, really his father, has published lots of writings by AntiSemites over the years and friends of Israel feel the son is just like the father.

I don’t know if Rand harbors the family feelings for Israel and the Jewish people. For me I won’t blame the sins of the father on the son. Until Rand does something I am not going to color him with that accusation.

I think he is right here because, the PA was the administrative arm of the PLO. Under Oslo, the PLO promised it would change its charter and remove reference to Israels Jews extermination. the PLO/PA never did. Mazen did his doctoral dissertation on Holocaust denial.

Today being Holocaust Memorial day, its fitting to note Abbas was the financier of the Munich Massacre.

Hamas still calls for killing all Jewish Israelis. I suppose they will let the 1.25 million non Jews who are Israelis live.

I think Rand should say aid would permanently be cut off if the uniting of PLO and Hamas takes place. Both organizations are in sync with killing the Jewish Israelis if they had their druthers.
