It seems like I recall the critters who wanted it passed agreed that they would be covered by the act ... then, when they had the votes they needed (after making similar assurances about illegals, low cost, you could keep your doctor/policy, etc., etc.) when it came time to vote on the act, it was amended so that they were excluded and remained covered by their `blue-chip’ CCC (congress critter coverage) policies.
Furthermore, the Senate voted on it Christmas Eve, 2010, when the rest of us were in a stupor of Christmas spirit ... and also creating the problem of why the abomination didn’t originate in the House.
Like so many things Obama touches, corrupted, `snake-bit’ and nastee from start to end.
