He said a more equal form of economic progress can be had through "the legitimate redistribution of economic benefits by the state, as well as indispensable cooperation between the private sector and civil society."Nothing there actually says "redistribution of wealth". There are already welfare programs. The Pope says redistribute these programs away from the cheats to the legitimate needy. The Pope also talks about "cooperation", which is very specifically not forced redistribution.
Once again the anti-Catholic MSM seeks to mislead with a fake headline to advance their own agenda.
We hear that every single time this man puts his foot in his mouth. Yes the press sucks. He knows that and continues to make these types of statements.
He means what he says.
And once again Francis has shot himself in the foot. If the Pope didn't make a habit of making marxist friendly remarks before the UN and making liberally leftist comments that need a positive spin by die-hard catholics, then maybe you might have a point.
One or two comments might be overlooked. Eight or ten remarks might be chalked up to a language translation that didn't quite get done right. But dozens and dozens of remarks and speeches over many weeks and months make it clear:
The Pope is a Marxist.
