For Chinese, 88 is a very lucky number

Speaking of ‘69 (ahem), noone has mentioned Ted Kennedy’s Oldsmobile yet.

Incredibly, many ancient copies of the New Testament say the number of the beast is 616!

That is amazing. Looks like they really were using 666 (resp. 616) for Nero.

There is a similar story about Bill Gates - if you add up the ASCII values of each letter in his name it comes up to 663. Bu since he is Bill Gates III, well you get the idea.

“88” represents the phrase “Heil Hitler.”

We were always trained, that the 88 referred to the fact, that there are 88 words in their creed.

It just occurred to me. How can something be null & void at the same time. If null, there cannot be a void. If void, there could be something there which would not be null.

Geesh, this reminds me of the time that my parents couldn’t decide on whether to abandon me at the Greyhound station or to volunteer me to the Army for advanced nerve gas testing.

It left a void in my life that left me feeling kind of nullish. Oh what to do, what to do...

You are on to something about 2815!....

2 from 8 is———6......

1 plus 5 is ———6.....

and...
2 plus 1 plus 8 plus 5 is 17, and as most of us know,...1 from 7 is———6......

How did we not see that?

18 wheelers —

Maybe the 18 is not base 10?

maybe hex, = 22 base 10.

So we are in trouble. Most any number can be converted (in whatever base is necessary) to some dreaded 88 or 18, etc.

Kind of like mathematical PC. Which would be MC, mathematical correctness.

I am trying SO HARD to stay out of trouble!
