Bundy Supporters Drove ATVs Through Native American Ruins
Yahoo-ey News ^ | 5-12-14 | Sara Morrison

"If there's one thing that will get your point across and persuade the general public to support your cause, it's driving a bunch of ATVs through Native American ruins and burials.

That seems to be the logic used by anti-Bureau of Land Management, pro-Cliven Bundy protestors who drove ATVs through a Utah canyon trail where motorized vehicles are banned. The rally was organized by Phil Lyman who, believe it or not, is actually a commissioner of San Juan county, home of Recapture Canyon. Hundreds of years ago, it was also home to the Puebloans, as evidenced by the ruins of their homes dug into the canyon rock. It is currently on federal land."

Sensationalist crap; nobody cares anyway (if they could ever verify their story). In that case it would have been accidental, and for a good cause.

Millions of vehicle miles are driven over hundreds of former Indian sites all across the country every day.

But this is something else that'll likely resonate well with the Idiocracy tonight @ 6pm.

Any nation whose course can be altered even a smidgen over tripe like this is destined to find THE iceberg anyway.

Not long before we see articles about Bundy supporters torturing kittens and puppies and making children cry.

The jackbooted BLM also drove through those same lands.

Where’s the outrage?

Native American ruins are all over out here in the southwest. Houses have been built over them. Malls. Highways. Many of them are preserved in places like Chaco Canyon and Mesa Verde.

"How do you know they know they were Bundy supporters"

Because they are both talking Posse Comitatus. And Bundy's son led the group.

Many freepers are also Posse Comitatus, in fact, Posse Comitatus has become a main stream group in the GOP. Before you know it, they will be using Elohim City as voting place for the GOP primary

“They should clear all that old junk out and build condos and strip malls or something useful.”

Here in the SW corner of New Mexico our local phone company wanted to bury new lines along side of the existing lines so that our community could move out of the Stone Age (dial up) and actually have decent Internet service. The physical work of laying the lines only took a matter of a few months. However, it took YEARS to have the permits approved due to environmental impact surveys and having a team of archeologists give their consent that no Native American sites would be disturbed. Mind you that the new line was to be burried a couple of feet from the old line and both run along state highways cut into the landscape! Talk about junk laying around from hundreds of years ago holding our modern society back! Good fer nothing libtards!

To be fair, according to these people with degrees in Native American Studies (who are among the most liberal, aggressive and outspoken in academia) having the name or picture of some mountain considered sacred to some tribe is enough to have the references removed from textbooks.

In a society where there is so much legislation, law, limitation and such, someone, somewhere is breaking the law at any time. Each of us could be (and probably are) breaking some law on any given day.

So, some guys riding their ATV across some dusty patch of ground somewhere and being branded as grave-desecrators doesn’t carry any weight at all with me. None whatsoever.

I believe as much as anyone about the sanctity and respect of burial sites and so on, but I have grown to not accept a word from any of these people with anything more than skepticism.

Yup. Time for BLM Feudal Lord Reid to dust off the Barrycades used last Autumn to keep crippled WW2 vets away from their monument.

FORWARD!

Heh, reminded me of a book I am listening to about the Battle of The Bulge...a young officer was screaming over the phone they needed tank killers because the Nazi armor was swarming up and down the streets. The older officer on the other end (in the rear) apparently thought he was overreacting, and in a calm measured voice asked “How many tanks are in your vicinity?”

The young officer said peevishly “If I went upstairs and peed out a window, I could hit six of em at once!”

Absolute BS. The ride was planned before the Bundy incident and the ride took place on Jeep trails. No damage was done to any “ruins”.
