Actor Danny Glover is one among several celebrities who on Tuesday called for a boycott of Israel, according to JNS.
The celebrities are featured in a documentary film entitled “American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs” which is being screened at the DocAviv festival in Tel Aviv.
“We stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine, and support their call for cultural and academic boycott of Israel,” 12 signatories said in a statement quoted by JNS.
The signatories, including Grace Lee Boggs herself, said they were “shocked” about the film’s screening at DocAviv on May 13 and 15, which was “scheduled without our knowledge.” …

Outspoken liberal Danny Glover of “Lethal Weapon” fame also praised Chávez after his passing.
Glover told MSNBC website, “the Grio,” that he joined “millions of freedom-loving people around the world” in celebrating Chávez and called him “a social-champion of democracy, material development, and spiritual well-being.”
Glover appeared in Venezuela in 2012 to support Chávez’s election, releasing a video of the two men “boxing playfully” and embracing “in an affectionate hug,” according to Fox News Latino.

I remember asking "could this guy possibly be worse than the Secretary of State that we've got?" but that was when Hillary was in office and the answer was "yes".
The “Lethal Weapon” star said the amendment was created to protect against slave revolts and help keep land from Native Americans, at a breakfast honoring Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 17.
“I don’t know if people know the genesis of the right to bear arms,” Glover said. “The Second Amendment comes from the right to protect, to protect themselves from slave revolts and from uprisings from Native Americans.”
“A revolt from people who were stolen from their land or revolt from people whose land was stolen from – that’s what the genesis of the Second Amendment is.”

If I want to watch one of their movies, I wait until I can get it for a $1 or it comes to TV.
