GOP: We'll move immigration reform in we take back Senate

Senate Republicans say they'll try to pass immigration reform legislation in the next two years if they take back the Senate in November.

The Republicans say winning back the Senate will allow them to pass a series of bills on their own terms that have a better chance of winning approval in the House.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), a central member of the coalition that passed a comprehensive reform bill in the Senate last year, said he would craft a better legislative approach if Republicans control the upper chamber in 2015. That would give his party a chance to pass immigration legislation before the presidential election, when Hispanic voters will be crucial to winning the White House.

But Democrats are threatening that if the House does not pass a comprehensive immigration reform bill this year the issue will be dead in 2015 and 2016, sinking the GOP brand among Hispanics ahead of the 2016 election.

“I certainly think we can make progress on immigration particularly on topics like modernizing our legal immigration system, improving our mechanisms for enforcing the law and I think if you did those things you could actually make some progress on addressing those who are illegally,” Rubio said Wednesday evening of the prospects of passing immigration reform in 2015.

He said the Senate next year should pass immigration reform through a series of sequential bills that build upon each other to enact comprehensive reform. This approach would be more palatable in the House, he said.

Wonderful! We need to elect as many conservatives to the senate as possible to stop this.

We all know that McConnell wants Amnesty, he voted for it in 2006. And he helped it pass last year.

Grassley instead of Sessions will be in charge of the Senate Judiciary committee instead of Sessions. Grassley's a good old boy who's been there since 1980, and he's up for reelections in 2016. He'll probably announce his retirement so he'll be free from the influence of the people and can push Amnesty through!

BRING BACK AMERICAN JOBS.

No immigration, until America rebuilds our productive capacity.

Immigration reform should consist of nothing but enforcement of current law. Period.

I’ve been saying this.

If McConnell wins and the GOP takes the senate Texas will be gone in matter of months at the most and not to the dems only but to Mexico

Seriously. With him in there, it’s best to have the senate in dem hands.

The GOPe will not have any opposition and they DO NOT work for Americans they work for the Chamber of Commerce

The Senate amnesty bill is dangerously flawed, and its glaring omissions WRT protecting US ntl security, cannot ever serve as the basis for useful legislation.

By legalizing illegal aliens w/out shoring up law enforcement, we hand an engraved invitation to global Third Worlders----all of 'em salivating to ride the US gravy train.....each seperatist group conniving to achieve its hidden agenda.

Amnesty recklessly opens the door wide for illiterate, low-skilled aliens, born and bred in savage cultures, here to suck up US benefits and take jobs away from Americans.

Third Worlders may, in fact, contribute their labor to the US, but their loyalties are elsewhere----they have no intention of becoming Americanized....of participating as equals in American culture, revering our vast history, or preserving American values.

The Senate amnesty bill is a blueprint----it amply demonstrates that illegal separatist populations intend to usurp the US political system to advance their own hidden agenda.

================================================

Immigration “reform” includes two “slush funds” amounting to $150,000,000 that may be supplemented with additional taxpayer dollars for years to come, earmarked for non-profit organizations such as the blood-thirsty La Raza.

LA RAZA TEACHING HATE-AMERICA WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS La Raza Studies do not even try to sugar-coat its anti-America agenda and its bloodthirsty plans to kill off Americans: Raza Studies textbook “Occupied America,” by Rodolfo Acuña, includes a violent and blood-curdling speech given by university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is, if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323).

The following is taken directly from La Raza's Occupied America (pg. 167): “.......execute all white males over age 16,” (AKA the Plan of San Diego).

America-hating Raza Studies teach (1) violence, (2) undermining US ntl security, and, (3) the need for Mexico to "re-take seven states in the Southwest...in order to make the SW a Chicano nation. "

SCHOOL BOARD NUT CASES Adelita Grijalva is the woman on the Arizona school board pimping La Raza indoctrination programs in Tuscon schools. Adelita is all up in arms about Raza Studies getting tossed via the AZ state legislature's action...she is the daughter of Raul Grijalva (D-AZ-7).

Cong Raul Grijalva is one of Mexico’s most productive and loyal Fifth Column in the US Congress....aiding and abetting the latino criminal underworld, colluding to take back the SW, and loot and pillage the US treasury.

Raul and friend.

GOP: “Give us the loaded gun, and we will immediately shoot ourselves in the head!”

Given this information, if I was a Democrat, I’d vote Republican in November.

IMO, the day after the mid-term election is over, Boner will move the bill passed by the Senate earlier this year. He will in all likelihood have won re-election and knows full well he won’t be Speaker again, so we will all get a lame duck shoved right up our Obama.

Republican Sen Charles Grassley tried to protect Americans w/ this amendment to the amnesty bill: "Congress should not thumb its nose at the millions of Americans who are victims of identity theft, often perpetrated by an undocumented person who steals Social Security numbers to get jobs, govt benefits, driver's licenses and more. This amendment will simply require the person applying for RPI status to disclose any previously used Social Security numbers," said Grassley. "It's the first step to helping clean up the mess that's been created for the victim of identity theft. The amendment also authorizes certain federal agencies, upon receipt of this information, to notify individuals who were the victims."

SEN SCHUMER WENT PROSTRATE, GOT OUT THE LIP BALM, AND PUCKERED UP: Dismissing Sen Grassley's proposal, Sen Schumer (Dimwit-NY) said: "When people are living in undocumented status, there are times, I suppose, when they've made up identities, made up Social Security numbers. How are they going to remember all that? (The) purpose of this bill is to bring people out of the shadows. We all know when they lived in the shadows, they had to forge documents, forge Social Security numbers, et cetera. I just don't see how, when you've lived here 10 years, and you've had many different identities, many different numbers, you're going to remember them all," said Schumer.

A PROTECTION RACKET EMBEDDED IN US LAW Would you believe the amnesty bill actually protects corrupt Latino Public Officials from US laws and from prosecution.......only latino pols, mind you.

Vote-crazed Dems allow amnesty to absolve elected/appointed latinos holding US public office from prosecution for wrongdoing---for crimes like government fraud, graft, bribery, selling votes for cash....(the usual politician crimes).

There really is a Ntl Assoc of Latino Elected and Appt Officials organized for govt fraud.

NANCY SUCKS UP at Ntl Assoc of Latino Elected and Appt Officials Gala in DC
L-R--Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ);
Dr Salomon Melgen (under scrutiny for corrupt deals w/ Sen Menendez);
Rep Nancy Pelosi (Dimwit-CAL); Francisco
J. Sanchez, US Under Secy of Commerce for Intl Trade,
Emilio Sanchez, Pres/CEO of VOXXI.

Actually, if we HAD the Senate, and of course the House, I *might* start trusting the process to produce something that is not Universal Amnesty.

Senate Republicans say they'll try to pass immigration reform legislation in the next two years if they take back the Senate in November.

Until the border fence is funded and completed, you will not be seeing a vote from me. The only reform that is needed is a visa overstay tracking system and some ENFORCEMNET OF OUR CURRENT LAWS by the LIAR-IN-CHIEF.

What is God's name makes the OGP think new laws will be enforced by the TRAITOR we have in the WH and at DOJ?

Now, this is actually the right approach. In fact, it is the conservative answer why not to do it this year. Why do it now, when we are in a stronger position NEXT year to get a better bill.

There are things to change. Amnesty is not what’s needed, though. We push through border enforcement, e-verify, worker visa reform and add more foreign worker visas for skilled workers. Throw in some minor bones to help minors that grew up here to become citizens the traditional way and viola...it’s a good center right reform.
