Somehow, the girlfriend is getting off scot free. I don’t know why.

There are questions about whether those tapes were legally made. There are questions as to who released the tapes to TMZ, since Stiviano said she didn’t, and had given copies of the tapes to a friend for safekeeping.

There are questions about who stood to benefit from making all of this public. There are so many unanswered questions surrounding this girl.

The immediate impact for her, is that she needs to find a new sugar daddy.

A few points:

1. Players have no understanding of "due process." Yet a player can easily appeal a substance abuse suspension by a variety of means and methods.

2. TIN FOIL HAT ALERT: What if Sterling staged the whole thing to save maybe $200 million or more in taxes? Would you be willing to risk being branded a "racist" for a few years to save that kind of money?

Sterling bought the Clippers for $15 million. The team is now worth anywheres from $700 million to maybe a billion.Yes, his cost basis ( cash in) has increased over the years..so let's say that if/when he sells he has a capital gains of $500 million. Roughly, 40% or $200 million of that goes in taxes.

There is an exception in the IRS capital gains rules. IF you are FORCED to sell an asset..say due to an eminent domain claim, then you are exempt from the capital gains tax (I don't know if California follows the IRC on this, or not..)

Think about it...he's almost a recluse now...he was a very finite lifespan...so, he gets a few months bad publicity, and in return he saves $200 mill...??????

Very interesting....they say he is a pretty shrude businessman. However, I can’t believe he thought this when he was talking with his girlfriend. But I could see him definitely thinking about it after the fact.

Nobody who contributes to the NAACP is a Republican. He might call himself a “Republican” the same way Democrat David Duke called himself a “Republican”, but Democrat Donald Sterling (D-California) is a Leftist through and through.

I just figured all along that Magic and some other folks who wanted the team set this all up. Stiviano cleary didn’t dream this up on her own....

I thought I read somewhere that the NBA owes Sterling more than $2.5m. Thus, they can extract the fine by deducting the amount from his TV payout check, leaving it up to Sterling to sue them successfully.
