I’ll pay $200 to avoid it
Tweetsie Railroad in Blow Rock NC still has a shoot’em up train show
I loved the flying saucers. Thanks for posting the picture.
I agree that the "Princesses" was a great marketing idea. The little girls love it. The concept has been going strong for at least 10 years. Disney can sell a great amount of merchandise, by recycling their old movies and characters. (The characters are of course new to the little girls).
I’ve “heard” Disney World is better at lines, and attractions, I can’t imagine making the trip to find out.
But enjoy!
Why does it look like that photo was taken at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station?
Both Kennywood and Idlewild are more than $30/day at the gate.
We love Disney. But you’ve got to go with a PLAN! Read the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disneyworld (or Disneyland) before you go. Makes all the difference in world; can’t wait to go back in September!
Been to Disney in Florida a bunch. Went to Six Flags in Atlanta a month ago. Night and day difference. Disney was expensive but completely worth the price. Service is impeccable. Six Flags service sucked. Food sucked. Just a miserable experience. I’d rather drive 8 hours and pay more than drive 30 minutes.
Dear wife is the imbiber.
I liked drink in college but as I aged I learned split tails were my preferred intoxicant by far .....anything else pales.....like that Elizabeth Cook song.....when you say yes to beer you say no to booty
Hence 5 children from 6-25
But I like when the girl drinks....lol
I lived in Miami a long time ago...my wife loves it there...but it ain’t cheep
BTTT
Two years behind me in school in my ex’s class the student body president became Mickey Mouse, literally.
We once went to a Christmas party at his house. I commented that one of the women looked like snow white. He said “She IS Snow White.”
He moved up in management and recently retired.
At one point he could get 3 people a day in free. We used that a dozen times or so in the 60s and early 70s. He once gave us the back-lot tour.
When I divorced, I lost that bennie, however, I was in Sacramento and didn’t need it very much.
