During his commentary segment on Monday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” network senior political analyst Brit Hume explained why the various forms of government-run or government-funded health care have failed at home and abroad.
“The spreading scandal of delayed care at Veterans Administration hospitals and the unraveling efforts to cover up the problem have resulted in predictable calls for the resignation of VA secretary Eric Shinseki,” Hume said. “But the VA has been plagued with patient backlogs for long as I can remember and the problem has defied all efforts to solve it. The fact is long waits for care are common for government-run tax-payer funded health systems. Think of all the complaints you've read about long waits for care in all the socialized health care systems in Britain and Canada. They are what happens when the government owns and operates the hospitals and pays the doctors and nurses and finances it all out of a central budget.”

I’ve been waiting 2-1/2 years for an appointment. Every time I call them to ask when I will receive notification, they tell me that I never requested an appointment.
But think how much fairer it is! Everyone suffers equally.
But they do not. The EXEMPT, felons, criminals, are all
are IMMUNE to Obama/DeathCARE.
THEY will continue to receive Kennedy-quality care.
The ENTIRE administration is just one big coverup.
Covering up for the fact that a multitude of fools voted for this foreign Muslim socialist and now wish they hadn’t, covering up for the fact that our illustrious media are a bunch of incompetent lazy robots whose only function is to transcribe daily White House talking point faxes into news, and covering up the fact that he’s riddled this administration with race haters, socialists, perverts.
If you took our entertainment, media and political discourse you’d think America was solely comprised of Muslims, black people, illegals (excuse me, UNDOCUMENTED ACT OF LOVERS), gays, pedophiles, transvestites and those poor creatures who can’t figure out what sex they are.
I believe that’s how they think.
Everyone equal.

And yet, single-payer is on its way.
Facts don’t matter. Right and wrong don’t matter.
Only Power.
And the way to power is to create a third world mob; a mob whose constituents each believe they deserve what they have not earned; a mob which covets the prosperity of others, and recognizes no correlation between productive effort and created value.
Such a mob can be created by indoctrination, or by simply allowing mass immigration of those who already adhere to third world values. The US has done both.
This mob will ALWAYS vote for Santa Claus, regardless of known character flaws or crimes committed. They will vote for Hitler over Churchill. Every time.
Once this situation exists, there is no return to self-reliance. The society is doomed to extinction.
With one caveat. God is still able to do a miracle in the hearts of men.
Pray for a spiritual revival in the United States of America. Pray for our nation to return to Christ.
Christ is our only hope.
One huge reform for VA - rather than keeping all patient treatment and care in-house, with a vast physical plant that is in fact almost never utilized to full potential, outsource the treatment to existing medical facilities that are not part of the VA system of hospitals, clinics and domiciliary housing. This is not “privatizing”, it is a more rational use of existing facilities, and should greatly expedite the disposal of pending treatments.
Even home visits through an outsourced nursing service would be a vast improvement over the current system. At least somebody would be in direct contact with the patient and could keep an account of the infirmities encountered.

Don't forget those who "need" sex change operations. They get bumped to the top of the waiting list.
In the UK death rates for cancers are higher than in the US largely because patients have to wait to see specialists and get specialized treatment. Ditto in Canada...that’s why there is a thriving health tourism business in Canada getting Canadians their treatment in the US without the wait.

There may finally be a scandal engulfing the Obama administration that even Democrats and their media collaborators can’t obfuscate. What happened at the VA facility in Phoenix, AZ, where employees created two sets of waiting lists to make it seem patients were being treated in a timely manner—and as many as 40 veterans allegedly died while languishing on the secret list—is an anomaly. Six more whistleblowers from around the nation have stepped forward, alleging the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities they worked at also “cooked the books.”
The despicable subterfuge, allegedly occurring in at least seven VA Medical Centers in Arizona, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina and Illinois is as simple as it was heartless. The official waiting list is the one that ostensibly met the VA’s policy, implemented by Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki in 2010. It set a 14-day time limit to provide care for a veteran making an initial application for an appointment. Yet by the agency’s own admission, only 41 percent of new VA medical patients were seen within that period in 2013, down from 90 percent in 2012.

Veterans Hospitals Death Panel Scandal Is a Preview of Life Under Obamacare.
The best example of how Obamacare’s “death panels” is going to work, is the scandal of the unknown number of veteran sentenced to death for being denied or delayed medical assistance by government bureaucracies of the V.A.
