The real reason guns sale are slumping. The price of everything has gone up so high under Obama’s reign that no one has any funds left over to buy guns.

And those numbers do not reflect people with CHL licenses.

And by now even the most concerned of gun enthusiasts has concluded there’s nothing to fear.

Hey. Us paranoids got our guns early and often. We have nothing to fear now. We will wait for prices to come down and then accessorize.

The day dicks quit selling AR platform rifles is the day I quit shopping there. It is also the day I started telling every person I talked to at gun events that they also needed to spend their money with companies who support all of the shooting world.

If this company goes out of business tomorrow it is good with me.

Also note Dicks owns the Field and Stream stores.

Hmm, I seem to recall Dicks Sporting Goods easily buying into new gun restrictions and so the Pro 2nd Amendment gang has collectively said SCREW YOU and we don’t shop your store any longer. Not for golf gear, not for kids sports leagues and especially NOT for hunting and shooting sports.

So apparently, in conflict with my life long experience, it might be possible for some people to buy enough guns

Gun sales were bound to drop somewhat after the very torrid pace in the last 2-3 years, but Dick’s has to be very low on a gun-buyer’s list of a good retailer.

It has a lot to do with Dick's feel good Newtown shooting policies.

"Dick’s Sporting Goods Faces Customer Outrage Over Gun Ban"

http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/top-stories/dicks-sporting-goods-faces-customer-outrage-over-gun-ban.html

Shooting sports enthusiasts all over the country got shafted by their corporate knee-jerk reaction and it still hasn't been forgotten.

Dick's made their own bed.

The Dicks near me has about 30 guns on display (.22s and shotguns), almost no ammo and no handguns and no salesperson within 50 feet..

Go 8 miles down the road to Gander Mountain and let your jaw drop to the expanded firearms department with hundreds and hundreds of firearms of all shapes and sizes, huge floor displays of ammo, and at leat 10-12 well trained and informative associates willing to answer any question

Dicks (no apostrophe on purpose) decided to piss on the gun buying customers. They went elsewhere. It has nothing to do with "paranoia". It has to do with being dishonest with your customers. They deserve the hit to the bottom line.

“The price of everything has gone up so high under Obama’s reign...”

Who would have ever thought .22 ammo would ever be this scarce or expensive?

Dicks is hardly a good example. It is being boycottes for removing ARs. And their gunsale staff is treated like crap and hates customers.
