Via Reveal Politics: At a fundraiser for congressional candidate Andrew Romanoff, former Democratic National Committee Chairman Gov. Howard Dean (D-VT) shared his thoughts on Republicans in a video filmed May 13.
“This is a Republican party that has decided they like power so much that they think it’s okay to win by taking away the right to vote," Dean said. "They are not America. They could be more comfortable in the Ukraine or Russia but stay away from our country. This is based on the right to vote.”

This is a massive straw man attack against Republicans from Dean here. He’s going so far as to say because we want voters to provide ID when going to the polls, we are taking away the right of Americans to vote. I wish someone would stand up to this putz and the entirety of the Democrat party with the very simple question, “If we have to show ID to board a plane, pay with a check, withdrawal money from a bank, drive a vehicle, get a job, or otherwise live in the United States, why does the act of voting in America’s elections NOT require it?”
