Info on this post re: the shooter. It’s all over social media since about 12:00 am or so, who it was. From what I can tell, officially they still haven’t released his name. He had very public warning signs for a year or more by his: youtube videos, blog, forum postings on a bodybuilder site and puahate.

“We have obtained and we are currently analyzing both written and videotaped evidence that suggest that this atrocity was a premeditated mass murder,” Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown said during an early morning news conference Saturday.
Brown said that a YouTube video appeared to be linked to the shooting.
In the video, a young man, sits in the driver’s seat of a car as he promises “retribution” and discusses his “loneliness, rejection and unfulfilled desires.”
“Girls gave their affection and sex and love to other men but never to me,” he says. He adds that it’ll be his last video.
Police haven’t confirmed whether the person who posted the video or man in it is the suspect.
