Texas conservatives are hoping to win two major Republican run-off elections on Tuesday, for lieutenant governor and attorney general, underscoring the Tea Partys enduring influence in the state.
In the race for Lieutenant Governor, Tea Party favorite State Senator Dan Patrick took 41.5 percent of the vote in the four-candidate March primary, and is favored to win on Tuesday. The three-term incumbent, David Dewhurst, finished with 28 percent.
The run-off race for state attorney general features a similar showdown, after Tea Party-backed State Senator Ken Paxton took 44 percent of the primary vote and State Representative Dan Branch won 34 percent.
One exception to the Tea Party's expected dominance on Tuesday could come in a Dallas-area congressional race. Congressman Ralph Hall, a 91-year-old lawmaker running for an 18th term, is favored over his Tea Party-backed challenger, John Ratcliffe, a former U.S. Attorney.

If Dan can upset Dewhurst....

Actually, it would not be an upset. Dan out polled him in the Primary in March.

Then the dream must killed, and consumed you see.
The Obamavultures continue feasting, while Boehner sits still,
Both parties know our pain as required collateral damage to fulfill.
What word did our Doormat Republicans not understand,
When Obama was first crowned The Tyrant of the Land?
Was it Fundamentally or Transform or The United States of America?
Why are these confused Leader Doormat Republicans still kept in power?
Why havent our TEA Party House Members sent Boehner to the back bench?
What does it take be it Benghazi, NSA, IRS, DOJ, or Delay to Death of our Vets?
Who are the Patriot House Members of both Parties to vote out Boehner?
When do We, the People rise up and declare that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!?
When do our elected House Members stand and deliver?
When does the well-deserved Impeachment of Obama begin?
When do our House Constitutional Checks and Balances kick in?
Back in DC, things are as calm as can be,
Obama lies, frames, blames, denies and delays,
Allowing the Obamavultures to feast as before,
While Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, Ryan, and Issa,

The left leaning punk, Jamie Dupree was trying to down play any possible conservative victories.
He really agitates me.

Perry, who endorsed Dewhurst in his Senate race against Cruz, has largely stayed out of the race, distancing himself from his deputy.

LOL, you can be sure the NYC Controlled Media will Poo Poo the results and ridicule the Texas voters.
Actually I was shocked that this Yahoo article just didn;t give the same-ol’ TEA party is dead template. It’s actually refreshing to see real analysis from the LSM.
I don't know if any organized T.E.A. Party endorsed Dan, but I know that's who's responsible for the changing of the old guard if things stay on track.
The left leaning punk, Jamie Dupree.....He really irritates me....

Then quit listening to Karl Rove’s boyfriend, Sean Hannity. He gives much too much air time to Jamie Dupree and “The Great Architect”. He loves “left leaning”, Establishment dudes. I quit watching his TV program or listening to his radio show. He brags about never endorsing in Primaries and then 30 seconds later gives a free 60 second endorsement of his buddy, Jack Kingston, who beat out Karen Handel in the GA Senate Primary. Screw Sean Hannity.... oh.... never mind.... Karl Rove is taking care of that.
