As President Obama toured the White House Science Fair, news broke that he would keep 9,800 troops in Afghanistan after the end of the year even though he signaled that combat operations would end in 2014.
After Obama finished talking to individual students and posing for pictures with the press, White House correspondent for Real Clear Politics Alexis Simendinger asked him a question about breaking news on the White House's approach to Syria's civil war as he prepared to exit the room.
“I’m sorry, we’re doing a science fair - c’mon. C’mon.” Obama said irritably as he turned and walked out of the room.

Kind of pathetic isn’t it? Are you starting to see why we in Maine want to secede? The secession movement in Maine can think of no other peaceful resolution to this mess we are in.
I thought Maine was mostly Democrats, or have I been misinformed?

Not long agao, about 1985 or so the democrats took over the republican party, since that we have been a pretty left leaning state, but we have the perfect Constitution to secede, we have the perfect geographical location to secede, we are rich in natural resources and still have a population of about 30% that can and will stand on their own two feet, considering our selves neither republican or slaves or serfs.
All of that said, way back in 1985 five men got together and started a drive to change Article on Section 16 of the Maine Constitution to read you have the right to bear arms that right shall never be questioned, that passed in Nov of 1987.
At the same time they formed the Maine State milita and the Maine secession movement.
The need for the change in the Constitution was so as to be able to build the militia, the need for the Militia was to ensure a real count and honest vote for secession.
Now we have been forced to move for secession by the Common Core Curriculum, for in five eyars, we do not believe there will be enough graduates voting that understand and we will never be able to succeed after that, we need to vote as soon as we can get another 250,00 to 350,00 Born Again Christians who understand freedom and what has happened to the US.
Common Core will so ruin our education system that there will not be a pool of Christians to draw from.
Are we panicking? No, for we understand James 4:10-17 and are convinced that if the Lord wants Maine to secede and be a safe haven for Christian families in these last days it will happen if not it will not happen.
But in answer to your question, yes the majority of Maine, as of today, is still communist, but each day a few more smart commies move to other states and a couple of more families either move to Maine or are either making plans to or are inquiring about land prices, home prices, and job opportunities. This may help you to understand what I am talking about.
That sounds exciting...I have seen over 66% of America and lived in a lot of states including upstate NY at one time, but I am an NC native who is disappointed in how vague our RED state is becoming. I have always wanted to visit Maine, but Massachusetts was as far a I have gone. Loved it at the time...before all this political change...
When I think of Maine, I think of Murder She Wrote and Cabot Cove, or the old big house on a Cliff overlooking the ocean..and of course LOBSTERS...yum.
The cold bothers me or I would be jumping on that bandwagon of succession I hope you all succeed in securing a place where Christians can live at peace and prosper.

He thought multi-tasking was easy back in 2008 when the idiot McCain wanted to suspend campaigning.

No..He does not care. Never did, never will. what we know about his past is this.
He never attended faculty meetings at the university he was supposed to be teaching at. Matter of fact, he never even taught.
Nobody recalls him attending college..not even his liberal friends.
He got undesirable grades in High School.

I would love to see a debate on Constitutional Law between Obama and Ted Cruz. I would also like to see them debate what is wrong and right with the Constitution and what should be changed.
