Suggest that someone ought to not burden themselves at all w/ student debt, or that 'education' isn't worth the cost, and see how quickly you're dismissed — it's even apparent in some of the professional fields, such as the well-known problems of C [and C-like programming languages] making them unsuitable for writing correct/secure code where suggestions of using alternate languages are readily dismissed.
