Why hasn’t Obama fired Director Sharon Helman head of the Phoenix VA and ordered AG Eric Holder to immediately investigate the Phoenix VA and other VA hospitals seeking criminal indictments? Helman should be indicted for fraud for fudging the waiting list numbers to get her bonus and possibly manslaughter for allowing veterans to die as a result of her fraud. While Shinseki resigning is appropriate it does nothing to change the systemic problems of the VA or more importantly punish those VA officials for their wrong doing.
They had to milk this for a few days to get the drama factor up. Now there will be a press conference announcing Shin’s successor, a new investigation, an investigation or the old investigation, and a report on the new investigation of the old investigation, plus, any notes from the old investigation, as amended, that may impact the new investigation. Then, a committee will be appointed to review the findings of the report and they, too, will issue a report on their findings at a press conference where they will give 0bama their findings in a folder which will be given to 0bama’s very own committee for assessing the results of the other committee he appointed. That committee will then deliberate, conduct their own investigation, and report to Mr. 0bama within 180 days. Within 540 days of that report, recommendations will be made and acted upon, or not, at the president’s discretion.

Thanks. I was wondering if this was another "corpseman" moment, thinking of the old VHA mortgages.
Stop picking targets, freezing, personalizing and polarizing them.
Fixing the VA includes firing Shinseki so the next guy knows he can’t commit the same wrongdoing.
It’s not a choice between either getting rid of Shinseki or fixing the VA. It’s all part of the same package.
Remember—one of the biggest problems of big government is lack of accountability.

So, I read that additionally, they will “develop a process” for removing the top VA officials in Phoenix.
I have the answer, right here:
1. The President calls them.
2. He tells them, “Your ass is FIRED. And, don’t leave the country”.
3. Repeat steps one and two.
I’d like a cut of all the money that I’ve just saved the US. I will donate it to veterans.
