To: Slings and Arrows

I must point out that we’re supposed to have a criminal justice system that bans cruel and unusual punishments.

Then there’s the whole Christian thing, if anyone’s interested.

Of course, we could just say screw it, invoke Sharia, and make them all die screaming.

Any takers?

Well, Sharia slaughters innocence, so perhaps that’s not an ideal example of what we’re not to become.

Cruel? Not really.

Unusual? It is not unusual for a lethal injection to not go as planned. So I vote to bring back hanging.

I have lots of sins to repent for but I am still willing to cast the first stone. I have absolutely no pity for these murderers.
If it were up to me they would still die from lethal injection; the difference is I would just tie them to a chair, inject them with battery acid then cut them loose so we could watch’em bounce.
