64% of locations falsify records. Looks coordinated to me. Obie tried to blame it on an old computer system. Bet the dog ate his homework a lot too.

receive the care they deserve

And there's the rub - he doesn't think they deserve "care". Or - he thinks they are already getting the care they deserve and not anything more. After all - these VA types are gubmint employees who need new and better furniture.

I will do everything I can to ensure that Congress works to address the root causes of these systemic problems ...

I suspect Congress is the root cause and nothing will be done.

Don’t know if Shinsecki’s leaving will change much or not;can’t comment as to his guilt or innocence in the matter. However, even if he is guilty of anything,I doubt that it begins & ends at his level. Suspect that his leaving is maybe being done just to turn down the heat in other areas. Anyway,I’ll bet his resignation leaves him walking away with more money than any 3 of us normal citizens could make honestly.

“Eric Shinseki has served our country for decades, on the battlefield, as Chief of Staff for the United States Army and as Secretary of Veterans Affairs.

"But let me continue after sipping this drink. Oh my god I have Koch up my nose! It burns! It has gone to my stomach and I think I have acid reflux! It is burning my lower intestine and prostate! My god! How did this general ever survive this pain. At least we have a President without a N-word dialect to make us forget this ch***.

Harry, left unchecked I’ll bet Shinseki was going to kill more veterans than the Taliban.

Too bad he won’t do something about the real root cause of the VA problems - the Federal government.

Oh, OK, Harry. I will take you at your word. You can start
by helping my 89 year old dad. Pop is a WWII combat wounded
paratrooper. He has a titanium plate in the top of his
skull compliments of a soldier of Japan. He resides on the
west side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains but must be driven
over Donner Summit to the Vets hospital in Reno for any
Tx he might need even though there is another Vet hospital
in the Sacramento area which is much closer.

As a Vet who is designated totally disabled there is not
a single benefit Dad is not entitled to utilize including
dental work. Several weeks ago my sister scheduled an
appointment in Reno to address his dental implants
which are falling out. The soonest they can see him is
in late June. By the day of the appointment two months
will have passed since the appointment was scheduled.
What you can do is to expedite his appointment and help
us to move it to Sacramento. The old guy doesn’t travel
as well as he once did. Get busy, Harry.

Quote from Senator Dingy Harry SATIRE ALERT “General Secretary Shinseki did a great job and should not have resigned, this witchhunt trumped up the Koch Brothers and Republicans that wouldn’t quadruple the VA budget over the past 12 years, it only went from $45 Billion to $154 Billion. We know if the budget had been $200 Billion for FY14 that would have solved all the problems.

Yes, a few hundred nearly dead veterans died, but many deserving Union Employees that donate to my campaign got bonuses to help the economy and their families” As far as blocking the House VA Reform Bill, I make no apologies in not allowing a vote on a bill that passed 390-33 and was 2 1/2 pages long, but we just didn’t have time to read the bill!!

Get rid of the public service unions at the VA and even someone half as capable as Shinseki can fix it. Harry Reid perhaps.
