The Hershey Co. has sued a Colorado marijuana edibles company, claiming it makes four pot-infused candies that too closely resemble iconic products of the chocolate maker.

The trademark infringement lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Denver this week against TinctureBelle LLC and TinctureBelle Marijuanka LLC.

It alleges TinctureBelle's Ganja Joy, Hasheath, Hashees and Dabby Patty mimic Hershey's Almond Joy, Heath bar, Reese's peanut butter cups and York peppermint patty candies, respectively.

The Obama administration banned flavored tobacco on the grounds that it might make it more palatable to kids/teens.

Of course, menthol was exempted from that ban.

Tobacco advertising is restricted from having cartoonish figures and other things.

Alcohol advertising is restricted in word and image too (not merely “health” claims but sex and other lures).

One would think “edibles” would have “strength”/# of hits listed on packaging.

All of the other information that is now mandated for menus and packaging, seems to be a horrible double standard. Overdose is quite possible...

>" Overdose is quite possible..."

Quite, but also quite harmless. No one has EVER died from a cannabis OD. It's the safest drug EVER. Most people take it purely for the side effects.

Cannabis does not make anyone a criminal. The law does.

Even when “speed” was legal, those who wanted it didn’t want a job and to fund their activities would steal things to pay for their kick. Wasn’t even expensive.

Crime.

I always had trouble lighting them.

I always had problems blowing smoke rings with them.

license is not liberty

How do we tell that smoking marijuana is merely license and not liberty? Is drinking alcohol license or liberty?

Reefer Madness was NOT an actual documentary.

Bad pot trip? Been scared a couple of times at the onset of some particularly potent stuff, nothing lifelong or permanent, but then again the pussies they raise today get an MRI every time they fall off the swing.

Are you a FREE Individual, or property of the state?

How long do you expect to remain free when you deem your brother to be property?

PS ask your Dentist if he would prescribe MJ if he could! He'd probably have it available for free in the lobby!

Hey BRANIAC Reefer Madness was an “adults only” exploitation movie that was made to show “naughty” business outside of the Hollywood censorship code.

It is paranoia to think that Refeer Madness and the other 1930s dope films represented ANY kind of drug paranoia.
