Men become fathers, boys become baby daddies.

You kinda hit on one of my thoughts. I know many young women in their 20's and 30's who are dying to find a guy to settle down with and have children. But the men aren't cooperating. The men get what they want for free.

Sorry, Michelle Duggar and I are 47 years old. There’s only so much we can do. Maybe demographers should try having their own children!

Exactly!

I've had children in my 20's, 30's, and 40's, and will love how ever many more the Lord gives me, but I can't make up for the fact that my children have no first cousins on my side of the family.

I can't make up for the fact that my mother had 11 siblings and around 40 nieces and nephews, but many of my aunts and uncles had one or two kids.

I can't help the fact that most of my cousins had one or no children.

Every generation has been smaller than the last, even though some of us are doing our best to fulfill our roles as parents and servants of God.

Read your Bible, starting in Genesis and see how God will deal with many if not all in a nation that has spit in His face.

So explain why your God doesn’t make infertile the populations in Islamic countries or those of Islamic immigrants?

I've had children in my 20's, 30's, and 40's,

Me, too! My brother doesn't have any children. My parents were from small families, too; big families were in my grandparents' generation.

It's just the way things are now, and for all the blaming of immigrants, the trend is the same for them. Two or three children are the norm, except for the minority who have both good health and intense religious conviction.

To a large degree, it’s because people have turned their backs to God. Secularists tend to not breed. Also, since the globalist induced crash there is a lot of good young men who would like a wife and children but can’t figure out a way to dependably support them.

Wait, I’m really confused. Aren’t we hearing once again from liberals about the earth being over-populated?

These people can’t keep their stories strait!

Me, too! My brother doesn't have any children. My parents were from small families, too; big families were in my grandparents' generation.

My parents were from large families, but health keep my mother from having as many as she would have liked. There are two of us.

My sister doesn't have any children. She never wanted them, and is doing the same things today that she did in high school and college - socializing on weekends with friends, buying stuff that catches her eye - new clothes, and "stuff". She has a great job and makes good money, but she is in the same mindset as she was decades ago - me, me me!.

I wish I could say that she is unique or different, but so many of our friend's siblings are doing the same sorts of things.

It's just the way things are now, and for all the blaming of immigrants, the trend is the same for them. Two or three children are the norm, except for the minority who have both good health and intense religious conviction.

I was at a home school cooperative event in May, and one of the ladies came in tears because she's pregnant and a stranger had stopped her when she was out with the kids, and had berated her about the fact that her family is obviously about to get bigger - she had her four kids in tow.

I tend to shrug that sort of thing off, and she probably would have on any other day, but some days it is seriously frustrating to know that society doesn't "approve" of the fact that you have more than two children, and that so many people are emboldened to mouth off about things that are none of their business. They know that they hold the majority opinion.

The idea that anyone is satisfied and happy with trusting God to give them what He thinks they need is foreign to most people today. Such a sad way to live, not trusting God.

Good question. After church, I may give that a stab.

My brother turned 50 this week, but his wife is only 33, so they might have children yet. On the other hand, they're able to be much more involved with our parents (and hers) than I can be, with nine children at home. At least I can send emails!

Yes, that does wear you out, and it's even harder when your own family acts like you've done them wrong by "getting yourself pregnant."

It has become annoying to talk about your children and compare kid photos and have more women in all seriousness include their pets, even getting angry if I asked if they had real children or were waiting for grandchildren.

Which means we may see a baby boom in 2017-2020, after the Democrats are out of power and the economy improves enough for repressed population pressure to be relieved. Or come to life.

Good way to boost the number of kids, is to ban abortion.

I am 35. I have 2 kids. I might another one. However, I have very little time to myself. I work 60 hours a week. Sadly for many people, that would be a down week for them. I have it alright, but having another child or two might be a bit challenging.

‘The simplest answer is the Obama Depression.’

I agree with this one. I would like to add that the disrespect that the last two generations show for women means that if they do become pregnant the guy either heads for the exit or refuses to marry them and continues to live with them. Government policies that force men to pay child support for what my dad used call something caught in his trap, till they are at least 18 puts a stop to a lot of things.

I personally know a couple of guys that are worth several millions of bucks and are in long term relationships with their women and have never married them nor had children with them, to protect their assets from the woman getting any claim to them.

The lack of respect women have for themselves also plays into this. Say a woman has been married before and has a couple of kids, last marriage ended when she stepped out on the former husband, why would any guy take on another man’s burden and why marry a woman with this history when she betrayed her first husband. Some guys do just that, I guess because they think they are special.

Male kids being raised by women have few of the male virtues and no willingness to be responsible for their own actions. They have also in some cases watched mom bring guys home and have lost respect for her and all other women.

I not speak with forked tongue, have seen it, and the aftereffects.

Among people who actually think, who would bring a child into this world with what is going on presently? Look for the gene pool to be fully stocked with moron sperm, maybe forever.

Morons. Its clearly due to cultural factors such as women pursuing full time careers, easy access to contraception and abortion, feminism, etc.

Some women really seem to hate children these days, and are eager to admit it.

Today, people are more self centered, and they are too lazy to have kids.

The. Obama. Depression.

The Obama Depression.

There, simple and accurate explanation.
