Totally agree. The spineless Republicans never stood up to him even when they had some good opportunities to do so. Epic fail on their part, but as you say, its all about political expediency. The stark truth is that most Republicans could care less about conservatism.
The only thing most Republicans in power care about is staying in power, keeping up a good façade for the rubes back home, and making sure nobody rocks the boat.
The Senate is controlled by the Dems, in case you didn’t notice.
Also NO Republican voted for Obamacare.
It amazes me that so many here, who should know better, blame the Republicans more than Obama — despite the FACTS I cited above.
