There was criteria that he couldnt meet. It was pretty simple stuff. So I think the trip was a door to the Taliban.
I think so too. As for how he got to France, who knows? Daddy? Seems the parents aren’t too hard up for money.

Doctors say.bowe is physically able to travel.
I thought rice said he was at deaths door.
I read yesterday that he’s 5’ 9” and 160 pounds. Doesn’t sound like someone who was at death’s door either. IMO every word out of Rice’s and Obama’s mouths are lies.

Mark my words, this is going to backfire BIG time on the GOP and Conservatives for not taking a wait and see attitude. BIG time. Wait for what? Did the guy walking to the helicopter appear to you to be in poor physical shape? Do you think all his platoon-mates are lying (why?)? Why is the US government breaking from tradition and not letting this guy see family or even speak to reporters?

Haha! I’d forgotten about Rosalind wanting him airlocked...

Yes, the overarching question has to be, Why did he join the Army? To desert? To go over to the Taliban? Or is this a carefully plotted scenario to get prisoners out of Guantanamo? Or?

He should have reported his torturers to his Haqqani chain of command.

That’s very unfortunate. If he had stayed with his brothers in arms he probably wouldn’t have been tortured at all.
To: Telepathic Intruder
I was kind of hoping she’d get her way-I thought the guy was pretty reprehensible when he just thought he’d been having an affair with an industrial spy.
I’ve forgotten the name of the guy who was executed for what he did...

Maybe he just thought he was joining that other Army-the one with the condos?

This guy is so delusional that he probably figured the Talban would allow him to wander around like the U.S. Army did! Something like that, I'd guess. His pajama boy sense of entitlement for being a special snowflake probably made him think the Taliban would loooove him, treat him like a brother, give him special privileges. If he thought his living conditions with the US military were so awful, I can only imagine what he thought of the living conditions of the Jihadis. The Jihadis probably beat him and put him in a cage just to stop his constant whining and snot-nosed blubbering.
