>> Enjoy it while we can. It would be wonderful if this continues!

Is the inference the Brat victory imposes greater risk for Republicans in November?

In a post election interview, Brat gave credit right off the bat to God and mentioned the nation’s moral decline. Paulbots usually don’t pay much mind to God and moral decline.

I’m praying that the GOPe realizes that this is a battle cry that the people of America are not going to be invaded by another country and sit by twiddling their thumbs.

If they are smart they will realize that if they bring in D Senators who will invite this illegal invasion, they will literally be inviting war to these shores. If they choose to be King George in response to the Tea Party then they better think long and hard over what that really means. We’ve traveled the King George v Tea Party road once before...

I think we need to cordially but firmly communicate to the GOPe that saving the country is what we all need to pull together to do now - not rub each other’s noses in the dirt. Too much is at stake for one side to gloat and one side to sulk. We HAVE to unite against the enemies waging war on this nation. All the treason by this current regime needs to be clearly and firmly set in front of the faces of the GOPe so they can see what is at stake. That is what we are fighting for, and we all need to never forget it.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Nebraska’s Ben Sasse had the right idea when he suggested that the power of the lobbyists etc should be decentralized by putting the Capitol in the middle of nowhere and/or doing federal business via technology such as Skype so that the power is not all located in one big schmoozing media-political corruptocrazy. (typo but it fits so I’ll leave it. lol)

Mike Johanns had the same thing happen to him as happened to Cantor; he got to DC and the schmoozing corrupted him. Happens to all of them unless the people find a way to tell them who they work for and who can easily fire them.

Shocking news! But I’m also ecstatic. I didn’t realize he was in trouble, so I wasn’t expecting this at all. Thank you, Jesus!

The Dems originally didn’t even have a candidate, thinking Cantor would win. Today, which was the filing deadline, they squeaked in a candidate .... another professor at the same college where Brat is a professor. No big cheese Dem running .... Brat has a GREAT chance of going all the way. With the wind in his sails (and the grassroots/tea party supporters) from beating Cantor, the energy here is incredible. Plus, the guy is wonderfully articulate, certainly no nutcase, and he really connects with people personally and with his message - he actually talks policy, not ‘politics’.

If percentage is 56% Brat, 44% Cantor... then, what would people say was the percentage involved of the Crossover Dems’ Vote? At tops 10% I’d say, Brat leading by 12%, Brat wins. (Early percentages mind you).

Shows how there probably shouldn’t be crossover voting again.

But the Breitbart article calls this a referendum on amnesty, perhaps.

I tell you what, billyboy, we need to clean house all incumbents available. Tell us how Cantor was so much better? It isn’t just amnesty and immigration that he has voted so horrid. If we are ever going to ever “throw all the bums out” we need to take a risk somewhere.

If only the progressives that are “oh so smart” would get with the program. Rather they seem to pull the party line harder than anyone due to their fears.

Safe seat, the general election is irrelevant, no matter how much the WA Post hopes their boy can win (Cantor’s body is still warm and already they are profiling the rat). That freakish moonbat, Mike Dickerson, is not on the ballot. The rat state committee selected their own college professor, Jack Trammell.

That guy was a genuine psychotic. He was attacking people on Twitter like a five year old. He would have been a perfect candidate for the dems as he represents the pervert values of the DNC under zero.

From what I have read the district was gerrymandered to make it solidly red. I was also impressed listening to Brat lay out his platform with Hannity. Although I told others that the only clip the MSM will play from him is "Thanking God", as the left will try and say he is a "religious extremist".

Glad this RINO is gone, I think Brit Hume ran off to the bar he seemed like he was ready to break down into tears!

Those are some reasons I see. It’s a shame there wasn’t one challenger to Graham.....he might have been able to gain some traction with the right support.

Six people were challenging Grahmensty. I fear there are several phony tea party groups that threw money at candidates to split the vote.

Also as Laura Ingraham pointed out on Megyn Kelly's show that unlike Cantor, Graham took the election seriously, tried pivoting to the base. Whereas, Cantor ignored the folks in his district.

Fox needs to go away - along with all the rest of the corporate MSM-Soros propaganda machine ... Free men do not need those egotistical jackasses to tell us how or what to think about anything. Americans should completely boycott the Corporate Press - all of it, and I don’t give a rat’s tail what flag they pretend to fly ... The whole damn bunch are bought-off anti-freedom pond scum!
