It might be time for Eric Holder to get his resume ready and start looking for other employment.
Holder might be on the brink of making history, but not in a good way, as a House bill calling for his impeachment is starting to gain massive support in Congress, which could make him the first Attorney General to be removed from office.
Many conservatives are ready to give Holder the boot for breaking the law and attempting to violate the First Amendment of the Constitution by using information from the IRS to prosecute people for their political beliefs.
Add this to the Fast and Furious scandal, his attempts to infringe on peoples rights to own a gun, and a host of other issues and its easy to see why so many are ready to hand Holder his pink slip.
The bill to impeach the Attorney General has now gained 26 co-sponsors and will more than likely continue to gain support as time goes on.
via Congress.gov:
Introduced in House (11/14/2013)
Impeaches Eric H. Holder, Jr., Attorney General of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors.
Sets forth articles of impeachment stating that Holder: (1) engaged in a pattern of conduct incompatible with the trust and confidence placed in him in that position by refusing to comply with a subpoena issued by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on October 12, 2011, in connection with a congressional investigation into Operation Fast and Furious by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF); (2) failed to enforce multiple laws, including the Defense of Marriage Act, the Controlled Substances Act, and the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986; (3) failed his oath of office by refusing to prosecute individuals involved in the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) scandal of unauthorized disclosure of tax records belonging to political donors; and (4) testified under oath before Congress on May 15, 2013, that he was neither involved in nor had heard of a potential prosecution of the press but later confirmed to the House Judiciary Committee in a letter dated June 19, 2013, that he approved of a search warrant on journalist James Rosen.
Awesome. The fact that this bill is gaining support and moving forward demonstrates that when enough pressure is put on politicians by their constituents, action will be taken. Its important to remember this, as the push to impeach Obama has just started to gain massive traction with the American people and those in Congress.
Booting Eric Holder is one of the first steps to restoring freedom in the republic, as it sends a message to the enemies of liberty stating clearly that their collectivists ideas are not going to be tolerated. Lets continue to petition our representatives to stay the course and kick Holder to the curb!
How long can you hold your breath?
Impeach Obama, and the rest will go quietly away...
2/3 of the Senate will NEVER convict even if Republicans take the Senate.
Fine and dandy. But a fish rots from its head....
What bill?
Right? At what point do we stop talking and take action?
Where’s the Bill to impeach Obama?
Twenty-six members is about 6% of the House. That's their idea of 'massive support'?
Sadly, the obienista operatives are deep in the system and, like the clintonistas, will be wreaking havoc on us for a long time after the lyin’ king is in jail. Ooops. Sorry. That won’t happen either.
Impeachment would be empty symbolism.
Impeach & imprison the agenda-driven, totalitarian hack.
This oft repeated mantra is specious. Impeachment serves as an investigation. Let the process work. Do not be declaring defeat before we begin.
The House has the authority to arrest people. I think Boner should keep his mouth shut and make these perps squirm with fear they might be arrested. I think Boner should THREATEN them all with arrest, including Lois Lerner. They’re all a bunch of F’ing LIARS, CROOKS and THEIVES!!!
Sometimes symbolism is important. Just as perception is reality.
Impeachment does no such thing. Impeachment is not needed so the House or Senate can investigate anybody. The Reid-run Senate will never vote to remove the Liberal Messiah or any of his apostles, no matter the crime.
And still the good Mormon Reid retains his temple recommend. And will continue to do so until other ‘good Momrons’ demand his expulsion for the heinous work he has done in America.
Screw symbolism. I want a substantive way to resist the Liberal Messiah and His apostles.
“Don’t go there, buddy!” — Eric Holder
