The real prize is 2nd Amendment.

That that may well be on the table at the convention. Article V places no restrictions on what kind of amendments might be brought up. The convention will consist of representatives from Red States as well as Blue States, and they'll come with their own agenda as well.

The 2A is about the only amendment in the BOR that is halfway respected by the feds. It is respected not because it is in writing, but because the rats value their jobs more than their “principles.”

Second, you won't find 38 states to ratify repeal.

Third, few men will be stupid enough to attempt to confiscate some 350 million firearms.

If I am wrong on all three, then this experiment in self-government is over and not worth the effort to restore.
