Think tanks are usually run by ideologues. A think tank’s primary function is to ask other people for money. Anyone who undermines/offends your donor base has to go.
Many people have gone into science with the intention of promoting their world view. This is against the nature of science, which is to search for the unbiased truth.
Because of course science has nothing to do with raising questions and testing hypotheses, even consensus positions. How horrible of Galileo or Newton or Einstein to have questioned the scientific consensus of their day. The way that any questions are silenced shows me that this is not about science, but politics, ideology, even an environmentalist religion. And why should we believe that all scientists are pure as the driven snow and not possibly susceptible to ideological or other corruption?
I used to have a very high opinion of science in general when growing up.
Not any more. The terrible politicization of it by the left is destroying it.
But, but, but. Doesn’t the prof have tenure? Ain’t this a sad state of affairs. Someone speaks the truth, gets called a heretic, gets removed from the position and vilified. Yet there are other profs who do more heinous things and they can’t be gotten rid of come hell or high water. (not that I’m advocating any flooding.)

When you hook up the AGW arguments to the discipline of Scientific Method they fall completely apart.
An entire generation has been brainwashed that AGW theory is proven fact, not theory.
If America wasn’t doomed without this, is certainly is with this. But we were doomed when the 60’s liberals began running things. Obama has accelerated this process many times over, and Obamacare is the final nail in the coffin sealing the deal.
The sad thing is that these school kids are not to blame because they are being brainwashed. That won’t make it any easier on them when they are subjected to the totalitarian oppression that is coming.

As soon as I saw “Institute of Policy Studies” I knew the guy was doomed. “Climate justice” is just another hideous malapropism that uses the emotive term “justice” to justify forcible redistribution of wealth.
The “True Believers” can’t risk being exposed as wrong; their entire life/values are underpinned by these fantasies.
