OK. Then we need an official list of what’s “offensive”. The government has to publish a list of words that are “offensive” and not permitted. Starting with the “N word” and including watermelon and banana. Then we’ll know what to use and what not to use.

The list should be posted on a government website. New words will be added all the time, of course, but then new words must have an effective date, so we can eradicate all traces of the newly bad word in time to avoid the penalty and the irs audit.

It’s only fair! The way it is now, the poor unsuspecting person doesn’t know if the word he is about to say is banned. Why I remember when “Black” was the word to use. But then all of a sudden jesse jackson and his crowd started damning people who said “Black.” We were supposed to say “African-American.” Well we didn’t know. They changed the rules on us without telling us.

Also, I need to know if it’s a crime to say “I was out in the sun all day and I have red skin.” Is that a crime or not?

The list can include who is exempted. For example, certain people are exempted from the penalties for saying “watermelon.” Only White people get fired for saying that. Better put it on the list.

Is “you look nice” going to be on the list? I want to know, because if a guy says it to a woman at work he can have his a$$ reamed for sexual harassment.

I was just at the grocery store and saw some Redskin Potatoes. I wondered if someone was going to call the police so they could confiscate the whole batch and arrest the store owner, the farmers, and all people who bought them.

The Washington Redskins franchise is going to be hounded until they cave and change the name.

Those opposed to the name/logo/trademark have tasted blood [support from various governmental entities]. They will pursue this relentlessly. That is how they operate. As soon as they get what they want, they will find something else to be offended by.

Regrettably, the question is no longer ‘will the Redskins management concede’ but ‘when will the Redskins management concede?’

Earlier this year, Sauk Rapids satirist Dan McCall won a legal victory over the federal government after National Security Agency reps tried to get online retailers to stop selling shirts emblazoned with the the agency’s seal and slogans like this: “The NSA: The only part of government that actually listens.”

The NSA essentially claimed their logo is copyrighted and couldn’t be used without permission, an argument that didn’t pass muster in light of the First Amendment’s protection of satire. Now, a pro-Hillary Clinton group is making a version of that same argument to once again get McCall’s products pulled from stores. (McCall also sells his shirts on his own site, LibertyManiacs.com.)

What about the Atlanta Braves and any trademark reference to “Native American” culture?
