Democrats should just stop talking about the military. Whenever they do, they sound like Republican men talking about rape.
I have to admit that's a very witty statement, and Ann is witty, if anything at all.
But in fact, the two are actually not the same:
Democrats genuinely dislike the US military, but Republicans like women and hate rape --it's only because the massive liberal media machine has succeeded in casting Conservatives as somehow being FOR all the misfortunes that befall women that there is any perception of that.

The soldiers in Bergdahl’s unit should be honored to be called Swiftboaters as the Swift Boat Veterans were, they all told the truth.
If the Army Major General conducting the inquiry into Berdahl’s desertion is an honorable man he’ll recommend desertion charges be brought so they can get on with the Article 32 hearing.
